Overview
- This encounter is a tough one against Aphrodite, an Assassin-class enemy with three HP bars and an array of extremely dangerous skills. It is possible to semi-solo this encounter with certain Servants (see video section).
- Deals bonus damage against [Star] attribute Servants via an unremovable passive. The bonus is only 18%, which is relatively small, so it's not entirely out of the question to bring a Star attribute Servant, although it may be helpful to keep in mind that they receive slightly more damage.
- Aphrodite's skills all inflict Mental Debuffs of various types:
- One skill Charms a single target, drains 100% NP Gauge, and will guarantee Instant Death from her NP, in addition to ATK, DEF, Crit Damage, and Damage Taken debuffs. This is her most threatening skill, and she unfortunately will use it quite often.
- She can inflict AoE Confusion, which can Skill Seal every turn, while also decreasing Debuff Resist for the target.
- She also can inflict AoE Terror, which can Stun once, and also inflict a new "Debuff Clear Success Rate Down by 500%" debuff () that works 1 time, which makes Debuff Clear effects miss once.
- Aphrodite's AoE NP has a high chance to inflict Instant Death, which becomes guaranteed if the target(s) are affected by Authority of Beauty (which has a Death Resist down debuff). In addition, it will reduce Charm Resist by 100% for the frontline.
- 1st Break: Skill Seals and NP Seals the entire front line.
- 2nd Break: Buffs her own ATK and Crit Rate, but debuffs her own DEF.
Team Recommendations
- ST Caster Damage Dealers are ideal, given their Class advantage in this encounter. Other options with soft (1.5x) class advantage such as Alter Egos and Berserkers are also viable.
- The best clay, Enkidu, is notable for having anti-Divine stun capabilities on their NP, and is an excellent choice for this encounter. Enkidu is capable of soloing the encounter with proper skill rotation and the correct Mystic Code (Atlas Academy - for its Debuff Clear and Skill Cooldown reduction).
- Debuff Clear Support is extremely helpful in this encounter, although be careful not to use it when the Debuff Clear Success Rate Down debuff () is active, since it will not be effective. Note that the debuffs inflicted by Aphrodite are Mental Debuffs, so effects that are restricted to Mental Debuffs are still effective for this encounter.
- Debuff Immunity is another option that is not affected by the Debuff Clear Success Rate Down debuff, and is highly effective if available.
- Skill Seal is also an option if the above are not available, which can stop Aprodite from using her debilitating skills. However, be wary of the Skill Seal rate for various Servant's skills, many of which are not 100%; the Skill Seal needs to stick for it to be reliable.
- Damage / NP Gauge Support is helpful as usual in enabling the damage dealer to take Aphrodite down more quickly. Many of the premiere supports are also Caster class, and will have advantage against Aphrodite, which is a small bonus.
- Mystic Code: Atlas Academy Uniform provides a source of Debuff Clear on demand (for a single target), which can help cover for emergencies.
