Overview

  • This stage consists of two waves. The first contains three low-HP Slaughter Hunters, while in the second comes Minotaur (Asterios).
  • 2,500 damage will be dealt to each Slaughter Hunter every turn, making them easy enough to kill even for lower rarity Servants without the use of skills or NP. Ideally, this wave should be used to charge the damage dealer’s NP Gauge, but it is safest to ensure that they are eliminated before any of them can use their NPs.
  • Minotaur comes with two HP bars, but his only gimmick is an NP Gain buff (giving him two instead of one NP charge per turn) which disappears upon Breaking him. This should be done on the very first turn if possible, to alleviate pressure from the Master’s party during the second phase of the fight.
  • While Minotaur’s NP is non-damaging, it comes with heavy debuffs which cause him to take less damage and deal more damage. This would both lengthen the fight and make it more likely for a party member to die, and should be avoided.

Team Recommendations

  • As a male Berserker, Minotaur has a lot of damage dealer counters. Anti-Male Servants such as Euryale or Orion work really well, as do most critical damage dealers such as Jeanne D’Arc (Alter) and Gilgamesh. Euryale in particular is capable of more or less soloing the whole stage.
  • Supports should be tailored to fit the primary damage dealer. Hard defensive skills such as party-wide Invincibility are not necessary thanks to Minotaur’s non-damaging NP, but can still be used to ensure survival of key Servants.
  • Should the party be unable to prevent Minotaur from using his NP, Servants with debuff removal (such as Caster of Okeanos) or the Mystic Code Atlas Academy Uniform can be brought along to nullify its effects.
