5 Star Servants

Tier A

Van Gogh, a Foreigner with a non-damaging NP, is one of the more unique supportive Servants in the game. Their entire kit is centered around the Curse debuff, and her skills are somewhat order-dependent in their effects. She is capable of inflicting multiple stacks of Curse on herself, on all allies, and also capable of absorbing all Curse stacks on the field unto herself. In exchange, her first skill gives her up to 10% NP Gauge for every Curse stack she has available. She also notably has a passive that makes her unable to die from Curse damage (surviving with 1 HP). Her NP provides impressive Critical Damage and ATK buffs for all allies, with further enhanced Crit Damage buffs specifically for allies with the "Entity of the Outer Realm" passive (mostly other Foreigners), while also providing a flat 10 Stars per turn and inflicting Terror on all enemies. Offensively, she also has an additional ATK buff from her third skill, the ability to grant increased Star Gather to a single ally, decrease DEF and Quick Resist for all enemies, and the ability to stack ATK buffs on herself with every Quick attack in exchange for removing a Curse stack from herself. Defensively, she has a Guts skill, a 1-time party Evade, and a very minor party HP regen that mostly offsets Curse damage. All told, she is a very mechanically unique take on a Critical damage Support Servant for the party and is very powerful in practice, being particularly potent for Foreigner allies, but still effective in other teams. Her ability to absorb Curse stacks to her advantage also makes her a great ally to other Servants capable of inflicting the Curse status effect.

Tier C+

Captain of the Nautilus, Nemo, primarily operates as an ST Arts Rider with an affinity for waterside battlefields. Nemo's NP gains both increased damage and the Sure Hit effect when near water (or in "Imaginary Spaces", which is specific to his release event, Imaginary Scramble), and his NP also deals bonus damage to Super Giant enemies. Nemo also provides a decent measure of party support that improves in the correct battlefield types, giving NP Damage, ATK, and Arts buffs for all allies, while also being able to generate a small sum of Crit Stars on demand. Defensively, however, he is not as fully-featured, with only a Guts skill and a small damage cut passive when in the right battlefields. He also has access to a 30% NP charge for himself, and a relatively unique effect of up to 50% additional NP charge when his Guts activates. His NP Gain as an Arts Servant, however, is somewhat middling, and the relatively low hit counts on his NP make it so that he requires an extra chain after his NP to get notable refund. His performance outside of his favored battlefield also isn't quite as potent as well, with about half of his additional supportive offensive capacity being locked to near-water / imaginary battlefields. In a relatively competitive ST Arts role, he may not always be the Servant of choice, but if taking on battles where water is involved (especially if a Super Giant enemy is involved), Captain Nemo is an excellent option to keep in mind.

Tier List Movements

5 Star Servants

Tier D > D+

In light of the release of Oda Nobukatsu, all Nobunagas in the roster have been revisited for their placement. On average, it was agreed that Demon King Nobunaga's performance benefits from Nobukatsu's presence sufficiently enough to warrant a slight bump in her tiering from her initial relatively low placement at D, although not quite enough to shift her a full tier up. Running her with Nobukatsu is a definite boon to her Buster and Critical Damage output, and fans of the Demon King should definitely consider bringing her younger brother along in battle.

Demon King Nobunaga (Oda Nobunaga): D -> D+ (Avg Score: 6.33) - [NorseFTX - D+][TrubotheDwarf - D][WhiteRabbit - C][Meliran - D]

Tier B+ > B+

The latest upgrade for Yang Guifei allows her target focus effect to work on all targets (instead of only Males), helping improve her ability to apply Burn stacks on enemies to take advantage of her NP's supereffective damage, while also helping increase the number of DEF down stacks. The upgrade also provides a decent boost to the Critical Stars generated by her first skill, adding a flat 10 stars on top of the skill's original values. The buffs are helpful to her gameplan, although overall was not quite enough to bump her up a tier.

Yang Guifei: B+ -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.6) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - B+][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - A][Rathilal - B+]

Tier C > C+

A much needed NP Gauge charge of up to 30% gets added to Abigail's first skill in her latest Rank Up. This enables her to get her NP out much more quickly and with less outside help than before, and was sorely needed since her NP-per-turn effect doesn't quite give her enough given her Buster typing. It was generally agreed that the upgrade is worth giving her a small tier bump.

Abigail Williams: C -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.2) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C+]

4 Star Servants

Tier C > C

The original Oda Nobunaga's performance is definitely improved by the introduction of Nobukatsu, especially with her innate ability to gather stars for herself to further take advantage of Critical Buffs that Nobukatsu provides. However, in the case of Nobunaga, it was agreed that her placement at C did not warrant a change with Nobukatsu's introduction, and moreso solidifies her current placement.

Oda Nobunaga: C -> C (Avg Score: 7) - [NorseFTX - C][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - C][Meliran - C]

Tier B+ > B+

Swimsuit Nobunaga also can reap the benefits of Nobukatsu's support relatively well, as she also touts a star gather skill. Her performance with other Buster Supports (such as Merlin) is already pretty impressive, and she makes for an excellent anti-Divine option who also frequently benefits from additional damage due to her Berserker Classing. It was generally agreed that the introduction of Nobukatsu doesn't quite push her up a full tier into A, although he certainly helps increase the damage ceiling for her.

Oda Nobunaga (Berserker): B+ -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.5) - [NorseFTX - B+][TrubotheDwarf - B+][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - B+]

Tier B+ > A

Mysterious Heroine XX's NP upgrade gives her the standard +300% ST Arts damage, and also enhances the Anti-Saber damage from 150% to 200%, making her almost essentially the same as running an Archer vs Sabers at least as far as her NP damage is concerned. The upgrade makes her a comfortably powerful ST Foreigner option in the roster, who also has bonus supereffective applicability that comes up relatively frequently, and was given a bump as a result.

Mysterious Heroine XX: B+ -> A (Avg Score: 8.87) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - B+][Rathilal - A]

1-3 Star Servants

Tier E > E

Gilles de Rais (Caster)'s upgrade with the Imaginary Scramble event changes his NP Damage debuff skill, making it effective on all targets (instead of just Servants), improves the values of the debuff, while also providing a boost to damage via inflicting Arts and Buster Resist debuffs on all enemies for 3 turns. The buff is helpful to his overall performance and offensive support to party members (for at least one wave). However, it was agreed that this upgrade doesn't quite change whether one would choose to run him in a party, and his yet-to-come upgrade is much more meaningful to his placement. Stay cool, Gilles, your time will come.

Gilles de Rais (Caster): E -> E (Avg Score: 5) - [NorseFTX - E][WhiteRabbit - E][Rathilal - E]
