5 Star Servants

Tier A+

Ashiya Douman, the irksome Alter Ego constantly causing trouble for Chaldea throughout the Lostbelts, unexpectedly joins the playable Servant roster as the first Alter Ego with an AoE Quick NP. His greatest claim to fame is his 80% NP charge skill, along with the ability to buff ATK and Crit Damage for both Evil and Chaotic allies (with both buffs doubling in value when both traits are present). He also can debuff DEF and ATK for enemies, and has a multitude of maladies he can inflict upon the enemy including Terror (Stun), Confusion (Skill Seal), Curse, and increased Curse damage. Defensively, he has a 2-time, 5-turn Guts, which is surprisingly effective. His NP has a chance of inflicting instant death on all enemies, while also cursing enemies and applying the Curse Damage Up debuff. All told, he makes for an extremely effective farming Servant, applicable to many situations due to his Alter Ego Class, while also offering impressive offensive support to Chaotic Evil allies. His attitude may be unsavory, but his capabilities as a mixed support and offense Servant are undeniable.

Tier A

Ibuki-Douji joins the roster as an AoE Buster Saber, complete with a 50% NP charge skill. Offensively, she has sizable ATK, Buster, and Crit Damage buffs, with an anti-Undead niche as well. She also can generate a small sum of Stars on demand, and provides a measure of utility via her NP Seal effect. Defensively, however, she lacks any 'hard' defensive options, having only a minor DEF buff to call her own. Her NP has both the Ignore Invincible and Ignore DEF attributes, making her an excellent option to use in quests where enemies may use Evade/Invincibility skills or have high DEF modifiers. Additionally, her NP will inflict a minor 3 turn Buster Resist debuff after applying damage, so subsequent Card hits or uses of her NP can deal more damage. She is a solid entry to the AoE Buster Saber role, and given she is the first to have a 50% NP charge skill, she can fulfill the role as a farmer relatively comfortably as well.

Tier C

Watanabe no Tsuna is an oni-slaying specialist Saber with a single target Buster NP. He has a largely selfish kit, with Buster, Crit Damage, Buster Star Gather, Arts Star Gather, and NP Gain buffs for himself. Defensively, he has an Evade skill, and can inflict a minor Crit Rate debuff on enemies. He also provides a bit of utility via his Sure Hit effect that lasts 3 turns. His NP deals bonus damage to both Oni and Demonic trait enemies, which can stack, making him an excellent ST Saber option to bring when dealing with enemies with both traits. However, outside of his niche, he is not quite as effective as other ST Buster Saber options, and his lack of easy access to Critical Stars / NP Gauge in his own skill kit make his performance somewhat dependent on supports.

Tier List Movements

5 Star Servants

Tier B+ > A

Sakata Kintoki's latest upgrade improves his NP's damage with the standard ST Buster NP buff of +200% damage across the board. Additionally, he know inflicts a 2 turn 30% Buster Resist debuff on the enemy, and although this applies after damage, it can help improve the entire party's damage output on the target. Kintoki has always been an excellent slot in due to his 50% NP charge skill, which enables him to pop in from the backline and unleash a big chunk of damage on an enemy so long as he has a 50% charge CE equipped (or NP charge support). This upgrade increases the potency of Kintoki's nuke, and it was agreed that this is worth a bump up to A tier.

Sakata Kintoki: B+ -> A (Avg Score: 9.13) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A+][WhiteRabbit - A+][Rathilal - A][Ceui - A]

Tier D > D+

Katou Danzo has long struggled with damage output, so this latest NP upgrade is very much welcome. Along with the standard AoE Buster upgrade of +100% damage, she now provides the party with a 20% Buster buff for 3 turns, giving her some measure of offensive support. Unfortunately, her damage is still somewhat wanting, even with the upgrade. She was given a conservative minor bump up to D+ tier.

Katou Danzo: D -> D+ (Avg Score: 6.33) - [NorseFTX - D+][TrubotheDwarf - D][WhiteRabbit - C][Rathilal - D+][Ceui - D]

Tier B > B

Ibaraki-Douji's Disengage skill now gains several new effects, including the ability to be targeted to allies, a relatively meaty Critical Damage buff for a turn, and bonus ATK for the ally if they are a Shuten-Douji. Ibaraki also gets 20% NP Gauge while using the skill now, so long as any Shuten is present on the field. This improves Ibaraki-Douji's supportive capacity, although for the most part it was agreed that this doesn't quite change her primary value as a damage dealer, especially since two of its effects are dependent on running her with Shuten-Douji, which may not always be applicable.

Ibaraki-Douji: B -> B (Avg Score: 8.07) - [NorseFTX - B+][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Rathilal - B][Ceui - B]
