Overview
- This is a boss rush where the main gimmick is that all knights have 80% damage reduction/debuff resistance unless they are hit by a certain card type, crit, or NP.
- Hitting the Knight with the correct card (can hold their icon to check) will disable their damage reduction buff the next turn.
- Every two turns (including the first turn), one of the knights will cast a team-wide attack buff and effects depending on their class. These effects (except for the taunt) take place at the end of the player's turn if their buffs aren't disabled.
- Lancelot, Gawain, and Bedivere will grant critical chance and damage up, while casting taunt on one of their allies.
- Tristan will grant Ignore Invincible and Ignore Defense, while casting taunt on one of their allies.
- Gareth will grant full NP gauge to everyone and NP damage up.
- Enemies can occasionally require two card types. Both need to be hit to disable their shields.
Strategy
- Although this fight seems complex, it's mostly a matter of waiting a turn before bursting down the enemy and prioritizing the matching card types.
- If unable to burst down the enemies all at once, try to prioritize Tristan first due to his invincibility pierce and defense ignore making defensive strategies difficult. Next, prioritize enemies that can deal AoE damage, especially Gawain since he has an NP charge skill that can throw off defensive skill timings.
Team Recommendations
- The most convenient setup is having a main AoE DPS with Critical Capabilities. This allows for hitting multiple enemies at once and then bursting them down one by one when required. Even better is if the DPS can NP loop for greater consistency.
- As usual, buffing supports are invaluable for reaching higher damage thresholds, as well as providing NP gauge in case an NP is required to deactivate the enemy buffs.
- Strong classes include those that can deal neutral or effective damage to everyone (like Avengers or Berserkers). Alternatively, Archers are effective against 3 out of the 5 knights, neutral against Tristan, and the disadvantage against Gareth mitigated with the bonus damage CE's. ) Quick Servants are preferred due to their easier access to all card types plus crits and NP.
- Chen Gong is used in a few teams to either cycle a support and chip the enemies with neutral damage, provide NP charge/Buster buff and cycle himself out with his taunt, or both.
