On June 27, 2019, Niantic announced the first Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana from August 31st to September 1st. 

This two-day event is expected to be similar to Pokemon GO Fest, which is a celebration of Pokemon GO that features exclusive content. 

No details have been announced about the event, only that hotel bookings are available.
