Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Reaches 400k Downloads and $300k Earned in First Day

On June 21, 2019, mobile app tracking service Sensor Tower released an analysis of the initial performance of Niantic's latest game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

Using Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence, their blog places the approximate downloads at over 400,000 and revenue at above $300,000.

At the article's time of writing, the game was ranked 102 for the US iPhone earning charts and ranked 48 in the U.K. 

Pokemon GO had performed well past this mark during its release in July 2016. Reaching the top of the App Store's earning charts, it earned approximately $2,000,000 in in-game spending. 

Today, on June 24th, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has reached into the top 30(rank 28) in the earning charts. Pokemon GO is ranked 14.
