  • The service will provide analytical insight into all your LoL matches
  • Will not interact with anti-cheat software, as metrics are displayed post-game

A new update to the HP Omen Command Center software will allow players of League of Legends to receive free coaching services assisted by Mobalytics.

Mobalytics.gg's partnership with HP Omen will be available for a full year for free to users of the HP Command Center. The coaching service is based on analytics taken from a player's matches in League of Legends and takes your numbers to compare it to millions of other players. The program shows you what they call a Gamer Performance Index, or GPI, that breaks down a player's specific strengths and weaknesses in key areas like farming, consistency, and vision. Game data is always displayed postmatch and there will be no conflicts with anti-cheat software.

League of Legends is the first game supported by Game Coaching. More games will be added to the service at a later date, including games outside of the MOBA genre.

As a player who enjoys coaching for games like Hearthstone, an analytics-based service does not necessarily meet the definition of coaching to me. There are great insights to be gained, absolutely, but data-driven gameplay statistics are only as reliable as the person interpreting them. I have personal experience with the HearthArena addon app, but I stopped after a while because it became unnecessary. Comparing my data to other players certainly helped improve my play.

Mobalytics says that it has millions of users all over the world in over 180 countries and testimonials state that players saw a large improvement in their ranked play thanks to the service. It costs $7.99 a month for the premium service but a free account gives you access to many of the features, and there's even a tier list.

The price of the HP Omen partnership service has yet to be announced. Other HP Omen Command Center features include a program aggregation service for your games and Rewards, a service in beta desting which grants things such as gift cards and merchandise for playing.
