Hyper Heroes Community in Uproar After Monetization Changes

On June 19, 2019, HyperJoy's marble-like RPG Hyper Heroes received an update that made significant changes to the monetization system. 

Players who logged in found that the hero finder would no longer be available. SS-rank Heroes would now only be obtainable after a certain level of VIP status that requires over $1800 USD in spending to achieve. 

A quick analysis from u/Shogt on Reddit details some of the issues:

They give the chance to take some cool SS stones from the shops. But one stone of Alice for 4k tournament coins, 1 of Trickster's for 2100 ace coins, is very awful. There is no more herofinder, useful to take up the stars perks of your heroes, or add some SS to your collection (with all the prizes in the path); now who wants some hero to buy (*) must be at some vip lvl or it is impossibile. And now there isn't more the hero soulstone in the daily packs. The mercenaries aren't as intended, like use more than 1 merc per time

So, I totally disagree with this update, it really sucks.

Reddit thread titles at the top of r/HyperHeroes include "Don't forget to change your reviews before quitting..." and "Let's hit them where it hurts", a stickied post featuring instructions on how to get purchases refunded.
