HyperX Cloud Alpha S Gaming Headset Now Shipping

California-based Kingston Technology's HyperX gaming division announced today that its latest gaming headset, the Cloud Alpha S, is now shipping. The latest entry in the gaming peripheral giant's Cloud line of headsets, which started in 2014, retails for $130. Upgrades over the previous version, the Cloud Alpha, include 'upgraded breathable leatherette' for the earpieces as well as 7.1 surround sound. However, some mild concerns over extended-duration wearability have been raised. HyperX has not commented on the latter issue as of yet.
