A Showcase for Indie Devs

The organizers of the Indie MEGABOOTH (IMB) have opened the call for submissions for their showcases at PAX East and the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2020. The IMB, which calls itself a "hand-curated traveling showcase of passionate creators", showed off 78 indie games from 18 different countries at PAX East 2019, and plan on highlighting 24 games at GDC 2020. From a statement released by IMB earlier today:

The organizers of the hand-curated lineups will be accepting submissions through 11:59 p.m. EDT on November 1, 2019. For an additional fee, late submissions will be accepted through November 4.

The fee to submit a game for consideration is $50 for the regular deadline. IMB did not detail the exact amount of the late submission fee.

IMB will be featuring its trademark MEGABOOTH and MINIBOOTH areas at PAX East, which runs from Feb. 27 through March 1 in 2020 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. GDC 2020 will take place from March 16 - March 20 in San Francisco. The games featured at GDC will be split up into two batches, with the first 12 being playable on Monday and Tuesday and the other 12 being playable from Wednesday through Friday.
