Jurassic World Alive Announces July Celebration Tournament

It's official, there's a tournament coming this weekend and it's got some pretty awesome rewards. 

We initially reported on this tournament a day ago when we saw it pop up on the official Ludia forums, but the link was quickly made private and we weren't certain if there would be changes to it before the announcement was made, but it appears to be in order.

What's exciting about this tournament is that it restricts dinosaurs to Legendary, Rare, and Common dinos, so it puts a lot of players on the same playing field. Unless players have been playing since the start of the game (back when Stegodeus was actually worth leveling to 30), most players stop leveling up most legendary dinosaurs in favor of their stronger unique conterparts at around level 20 -- the minimum level needed for creating a Unique.

So tournaments that remove Unique class dinos but have Legendary class dinos are sort of like a time capsule, bringing us deeper into our decks to find what we can use from an era gone by.

You're going to see a LOT of tanks, so be sure to bring a chomper along like Allosino or Tryostronix. 

And the rewards for the tournament are pretty awesome too! 

Overall, we're really excited for this upcoming tournament and can't wait to jump into the action.
