Jurassic World Alive Maintenance: Patch 1.8 Could Be Tuesday?

A few hours ago, Ludia announced on their official forum (link below) that there is going to be scheduled maintenance on June 25th for Jurassic World Alive - a geolocation-based Pokemon Go style game featuring the Jurassic Park franchise.

This is a significant update because it marks the first time that Jurassic World Alive has had any feature allowing cooperative geolocation based community involvement.

While they'd had alliances for some time in Jurassic World Alive, which require some partnership to meet individual goals (and collective goals via combining individual achievements), there really hadn't been a lot of ways that people could connect while playing.

With Harry Potter Wizards Unite being such a socially oriented game, and with Pokemon Go requiring raid battles with 20 players to defeat great challenges, it will be interesting to see what these new Sanctuaries do for Jurassic World Alive.

We're still hard at work on our full Sanctuary Guide -- one based on the patch notes and one with screenshots and explanations -- but in the meantime we're excited for this weekend to get underway and for next week's possible release.

We will keep you updated on next week's featured creatures and any other breaking news with Jurassic World Alive as we go!
