JWA Weekly Events Oct 28 - Nov 3

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. As expected, this week's theme is Halloween as the featured creatures and the strike events. These creatures were chosen based on the scary creatures survey they sent out about a month ago. Spoiler alert, we are NOT getting irritator to dart. Not sure how that didn't win the survey, but we'll never know as the results aren't ever officially released. We'll break down what to dart and what to expect from the strike events. So let's get to it!

Monday -  Wednesday: Commons (27 attempts)

Tanycolagreus - Daily Thursday Spawn

Tarbosaurus - Global Night/Dawn/Dusk

Velociraptor - Global Night/Dawn/Dusk

What to Dart

Honestly, any of the commons are good to go for depending on what dinos and hybrids you are working on. All of them are components of a unique hybrid, which means you need 2000 DNA per fuse and that starts to add up quickly! Tanycolagreus is needed for the even stronger hybrid, Quetzorion. Tarbosaurus is needed to fuse for the very strong hybrid Thoradolosaur. Finally, Velociraptor has several Tyrant and Apex hybrids including Erlidominus and Indoraptor. This is a great opportunity to stock up on ingredients if you are working towards any of these hybrids. 

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (18 attempts)

Kelenken - Global Dawn/Dusk

Tyrannosaurus Gen 2 - Daily Friday 

Suchotator - Local 4 Anytime

What to Dart

Since Kelenken is a new dino and only available for a couple of hours a day this is probably the best one to focus on. We know how Ludia likes to make hybrids of newer rare dinos so it never hurts to stock up on DNA for a possible future hybrid. Tyrannosaurus Rex Gen 2 si a decent option as well. Especially as a component of Indominus Rex Gen 2, which is needed for the Tyrant dino Indoraptor Gen 2. Since it's a daily dino, you can't scent for it. Suchotator is a hybrid that is pretty easy to fuse for, so honestly, it isn't worth the attempts. 

Friday: Legendary (1 attempt)

Spinonyx

What to Dart

We are excited to get the opportunity to dart a Legendary dino this week! Spinonyx is a hybrid that is made up of an incubator exclusive dino (Baryonyx Gen 2) so darting it will allow you to save up on a lot of that DNA. Fuse it with Erlikosaurus Gen 2 to create the Tyrant dino Erlikospyx. 

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (6 attempts)

Allosaurus Gen 2 - Event Exclusive

Indominus Rex Gen 2 - Daily Saturday 

What to Dart

Allosaurus Gen 2 was only available for a very short time when it was first introduced. We haven't seen it since outside of some incubators that have been for sale so this really is the better choice for the weekend. Indominus Rex Gen 2 is a daily Saturday dino but it is also a hybrid that can be created by fusing Tyrannosaurus Gen 2 and Echo. While it is a component of a Tyrant dino, it is still better to go for the exclusive DNA. 

Sunday: Unique (1 attempt)

What to Dart

In addition to a Legendary, we are also getting the opportunity to dart a unique! Indoraptor got a decent buff this patch with the changes to the dodge mechanic. We've had several opportunities to dart this in the past and this might give some people the opportunity to get a level on it.  

The strike events are also Halloween themed so you will see the same dinos from the featured creatures in the incubators.

There are 4 epic strikes this week! There is a Spinotahraptor themed strike on Friday, and and 3 Halloween themed strikes in the middle of the week and on Sunday. We will keep you up to date with strike guides as those come out and we know the adversaries you will be facing! 

There is a themed scent strike on Tuesday that is a Halloween scent, and it looks like there is a Speed Boost Strike that you are not going to want to miss. The Halloween scent will also be in the Supply Drops so make sure you are using those up as you get them.

It also looks like the red treasure chase is back so we are excited to have the opportunity to get more coins. This special Halloween Treasure chase not only includes coins, you can also collect extra sanctuary items to use on dinos in the sanctuaries for more DNA. All in all, it looks like a lot to look forward to this week!

This is a pretty exciting week! We are dissappointed that irritator isn't featured, but we do appreciate the opportunity to dart a legendary and unique dino.
