Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. This week's theme is Armor as the featured creatures and Counter Attack as the strike event theme. Armor isn't a new theme, but there is a new creature that has been added to it that we are very excited about (Hello Turtle!) We'll break down what to dart and what to expect from the strike events. So let's get to it!

Featured Creatures - Common

Monday -  Wednesday: Commons (48 attempts)

Ankylosaurus Gen 2

Euoplocephalus

Brontotherium

Scolosaurus

What to Dart

Ankylosaurus is a daily spawn and can usually be found everywhere on Tuesdays. Euoplocephalus is a local 2 resident. Brontotherium is event locked, meaning you can only dart it during special events and you won't be able to get it from incubators. It also has a new hybrid, Brontolasmus, that is surprisingly strong for an epic creature. Scolosaurus is also event locked and has a hybrid that is strong and has the potential to get a future hybrid as well. Either of these creatures would be best to focus on depending on which creature you are closer to unlocking (or that you need DNA for).

Featured Creatures - Rare

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (18 attempts)

Ankylocodon

Elasmotherium

Nodosaurus

What to Dart

Ankylocodon is a daily spawn on Wednesday. It is also a hybrid so and its components are easy to find so it is usually better just to fuse for these things. Elasmotherium is also a daily spawn and can be found on Tuesdays. It is the other half of Brontolasmus so this is a good choice since it's a newer hybrid and could get a hybrid of its own in the future. Nodosaurus is a global spawn so it can usually be hunted fairly easily.

Featured Creatures - Epic

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (9 attempts)

Amargocephalus

Ankylosaurus

Carbonemys

What to Dart

Amargocephalus is an epic hybrid so once again it is usually smarter to just fuse for this. Ankylosaurus is a daily Sunday spawn and while this is a creature people need for Diorajasaur and Trykosaurus, it is featured in several events. The only reason we don't think this is the best choice is because of the 3rd option we have.

We're getting the turtle y'all! Carbonemys is a new creature for this theme and this is the one you should focus on. It is a park spawn, but with scents not currently working, you usually just have to get lucky in finding one. And it has been notoriously hard to find. So now's your chance to get some of that turtle DNA!

Strike Events

The strike event theme this week is Counter Attack.

Common: Lythronax, Majungasaurus, Miragaia

Rare: Carnotaurus, Dsungariptus, Megalosaurus, Tupandactlus

Epic: Concavenator, Pteranodon, Rajasaurus

There are only 2 epic strikes this week. There is a Thylacotator themed strike on Friday, and a 3 step counter-attack themed strike on Sunday. We will keep you up to date with strike guides as those come out and we know the adversaries you will be facing!

Treasure Chase, Themed Scent & Boost Strike

There is a themed scent strike on Tuesday that we believe is a Apex Therapod scent, and it looks like there is a Health Boost Strike that you are not going to want to miss.  We are also expecting another themed scent in the store and we will update you as soon as that is live. All in all, it looks like a lot to look forward to this week.

In Conclusion

We are very excited about the new creature that was added to this week! People have been asking for a way to get the turtle since 1.9 came out and this is our chance! Be prepared to start seeing its very strong hybrids in the arena as well. We will make sure to keep you updated on any other events or changes that we see and make sure to join our discussion on our discord!
