JWA 2.1 Datamine: Raid Boss Stats and Championships!

Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

Explorers! Update 2.1 has arrived and we went looking into the codes to see if there was some interesting stuff. And there was! We found out what the Hadros Lux and Grypolyth Raid Boss Stats were, next Seasonal Rewards, a 'new' creature, as well as some information about the new Alliance Championship! We want to give a shoutout to our dataminers OrigamiRobot and jimbohi for finding this information!

Some very interesting information, but we can understand that you do not want this spoiled. As such, this is your only warning from getting out now! Go read some of our Patch Notes coverage instead.

Still here? Cool. Let's get into the datamine!

Grypolyth Raid

The third raid that goes live this update is the Grypolyth raid and it's looking to be something special! This will be the first time that we will have a 3 ROUND RAID! That's right, Grypolyth will have 3 rounds! We've got all information you might want to know in order to prepare for this vicious crocodilian Raid!

Stats and Moves

Grypolyth will be a L24 creature, just like Smilonemys. As we only had access to base stats and not the exact ones, we had to calculate them. Grypolyth's stats are:

  • Health: 16507 (approximately) each round. Meaning about 49521 Health to take down total across three rounds.
  • Attack: About 1179
  • Speed: 106
  • Armor: 20%
  • Critical Chance: 5%

Resistances:

  • 80% DoT
  • 80% Rend
  • 50% Distraction
  • 50% Vulnerability
  • 100% Stun

These stats remain the same across all rounds. However, Grypolyth's moves do change up every round. Here they are:

Round 1:

  • Primal Tail Swipe
  • Stunning Shield
  • Emergency Heal
  • 25% Rending Counter

Round 2:

  • Primal Tail Swipe
  • Stunning Piercing Impact
  • Emergency Heal
  • 25% Rending Counter

Round 3:

  • Cleansing Primal Tail Swipe
  • Stunning Piercing Impact
  • Emergency Heal
  • 25% Rending Counter

As you can see Grypolyth will focus on Stunning you. Bringing Shields won't do any good either due to the Counter and Tail Swipes it has! If it follows the order that is listed here you'll want to take Grypolyth out on the second move of each Round, so that you will not have to deal with it Healing itself.

Minions

Grypolyth, like the other raids, will also have minions. These minions are Echo and Scolosaurus, who will provide Grypolyth with Distraction and Shields. Here are their stats and moves:

Echo Stats:

  • Health: 2285
  • Attack: 1428
  • Speed: 149
  • Armor: 0
  • Critical Chance: 5

Echo Moves:

  • Group Strike
  • Pounce

Scolosaurus Stats:

  • Health: 5247
  • Attack: 928
  • Speed: 107
  • Armor: 30
  • Critical Chance: 5

Scolosaurus Moves:

  • Taunting Shields
  • Group Taunting Shields

These minions will make it difficult for you to do big damage on Grypolyth, especially Scolosaurus. Echo can be taken out quickly due to the low Health, but you'd need a serious Fierce creature to take out Scolosaurus!

Hadros Lux Raid

If you were shocked by the amount of Rounds that Grypolyth had, prepare yourself for Hadros Lux. This Raid has a whopping 4 rounds. Let me repeat that. 4 rounds. This means that you will have to deal with minions 4 times, but also have to deplete Hadros Lux' Health 4 times. Let's go over the stats really quick.

Hadros Lux Stats and Moves

These stats are for each round. They do not change.

  • Health: 25070 for each round. Meaning you will have to take out 100280 Health over the course of 4 rounds!
  • Attack: 1671
  • Speed: 106
  • Armor: 20%
  • Critical Chance: 5%

Resistances:

  • 80% Rend
  • 80% DoT
  • 100% Stun
  • 50% Distraction
  • 50% Vulnerability

This is a bit unique, as these stats are not similar to the regular version of Hadros Lux. Usually the Raid Boss keeps its regular stats (except Health) in the Raid, so these stats are to be taken with a grain of salt. When we get the Hadros Lux raid live we will send the real stats in our Discord server. These stats do not change each round, they stay the same. Hadros Lux' moves however do change. Here's the full list!

Round 1:

  • Group Taunting Shields
  • Emergency Heal
  • Resilient Impact
  • Resilient Counterattack

Round 2:

  • Group Distraction
  • Group Taunting Shields Strike
  • Resilient Rampage
  • Resilient Counterattack

Round 3:

  • Group Taunting Shields
  • Resilient Rampage
  • Rampage
  • Resilient Counterattack

Round 4:

  • Group Distraction
  • Resilient Rampage
  • Rampage
  • Resilient Counterattack

Those are all the moves Hadros Lux can throw at you.

Minions

However we are not finished yet, as Hadros Lux has two very scary minions! They are Entelodon and Gorgosaurus, both equipped to deal big Defense Shattering Attacks! Here are their Stats and Moves:

Entelodon Stats:

  • Health: 6016
  • Attack: 1671
  • Speed: 132
  • Armor: 0
  • Critical Chance: 30%

Entelodon Moves:

  • Group Shattering Strike
  • Group Ferocity
  • Group Shattering Impact

Gorgosaurus Stats:

  • Health: 8204
  • Attack: 2582
  • Speed: 102
  • Armor: 0
  • Critical Chance: 20%

Gorgosaurus Moves:

  • Defense Shattering Strike
  • Defense Shattering Impact
  • Defense Shattering Rampage

As you can see these minions are not to be trifled with. Pair them with Hadros Lux and you will get an incredibly difficult time, most likely making it even harder than Mortem Rex! If we find a good strategy we will post it in our upcoming Raid Guides!

October Alliance Championships and Seasons!

The datamine revealed the next Alliance Championships! We expect to get a Spinoconstrictor Championship in October! This will be a very interesting Championship, as it will reward us this incredible Snake hybrid, but don't forget that we will be getting Event Exclusive DNA for Titanoboa as well! You could get very far with this Championship if you manage to do well with your alliance!

As far as the Tournament predictions go, we expect to get a Common + Epic Tournament first due to the Common and Epic components of Dilophoboa, and then a Rare Tournament after that due to the Rare component of Spinoconstrictor. We will see if this prediction turns out right, but if it does we can look forward to a fun Championship! We will post a Tournament article for this week later with Sim Results in it! Yep, Sim Results are making a comeback! Be sure to be on the lookout for that one either later today or tomorrow!

We also datamined some new Season creatures! We found codes for Arctops, Nasutoceratops and Dsungaripterus and we suspect they might all be the rewards for next Season! If this is the case we are getting three creature rewards for one Season! That ought to be exciting!

Acrocanthosaurus Moves and Stats

For a brief moment, Ludia included a new creature Acrocanthosaurus. However it got removed rather quickly, but we managed to find the stats and moves for it. Here they are:

Acrocanthosaurus - Epic

  • Health: 4800
  • Attack: 1700
  • Speed: 103
  • Armor: 0
  • Critical Chance: 30%

Moves:

  • Group Cleansing Strike
  • Fierce Impact
  • Fierce Rampage

This looks like quite the interesting Fierce Creature! Most people were surprised to see it in 2.1 as it hadn't been announced yet. But now it has been removed, and Ludia might decide to alter the stats and moves of this theropod. We will see when they introduce it, but this is a small sneak peak!

Fusing Numbers

According to our dataminers, there has been a change in the Fusing Odds. They have become more generalised instead of the 6/7 sets we used to have. Our resident robot OrigamiRobot has written an article in the past on this, and he will be updating it with the new information. We will let you know when it goes live and here is the link to it in case you want to read it again.

Parting Words

And that's the entire datamine! We've found some pretty interesting stuff in the code this time, and we hope you will find the Raid boss Stats useful! The next Championship and Season should prove interesting as well. Let us know on our Discord server what you found the most interesting. We hope to see you on there!
