Introduction
Explorers, we have some exciting and exclusive news about an upcoming Event we will see next week featuring Epic Creatures! It is called Epic Occasion and it looks like it will be a bunch of different opportunities to get DNA from some pretty exciting creatures. This information was given to us exclusively from Ludia. Ludia provided the most recent information available at the time. They are not final and subject to change if necessary. So let's get to it!
Epic Occasion Event
The Epic Occasion event will run between April 26th to May 2nd. There will be exciting events and offers featuring Epic creatures!
Players will be able to test their battle skills in the Trial by going in with creatures that are Fierce, Cunning, and Resilient and there will also be a coin chase where you can open coin boxes every hour and collect up to 25,000 coins daily. Players will be able to open Coin Chase boxes every hour and collect up to 25,000 coins daily!

Baryonyx
Eucladoceros
Maiasaura
Megisthoterium
Rajasaurus
Scutosaurus
Titanoboa
Tyrannosaurus Rex
As you can see, there is a pretty exciting lineup of Epic Creatures! There are a lot of Exclusive creatures available. Antarctopelta and Titanoboa are Event Exclusive, meaning you cannot get their DNA in any other form but Sanctuaries if they aren't featured in Weekly Events. Baryonyx, Maiasaura and Scutosaurus are all Arena Exclusives, so you can't get their DNA easily either. Megistotherium is a Short-Range Spawn, meaning it's pretty much Event Exclusive if you're unable to leave your house due to COVID or any other reason. Rajasaurus, Eucladoceros and Tyrannosaurus Rex are all roaming in the wild but have great hybrids in Rajakylosaurus, Diorajasaur, Testacornibus, Eremoceros, Trykosaurus, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor and Erlidominus respectively. Overall, there are great options for all kinds of players! We just don't know how often we can dart them or what the Weekly Event will look like, but we will inform you as soon as we know more!
Taking a page out of my colleague Kelociraptor here, if this lineup does turn out to be true, we would always recommend you to go for the most Exclusive stuff. Titanoboa and Antarctopelta are both Event Exclusive, meaning that you can't get their DNA outside of Events like these or Sanctuaries. However, their Hybrids are not the greatest Arena performers. But both Epics are great creatures on their own, and I know I will be going all out on Titanoboa this week.
If the two Event Exclusive creatures aren't the thing for you, the Arena Exclusive creatures are well worth it too. Baryonyx fuses into Tryostronix, which is a very valuable Raiding creature, being a key component in many Apex Raids. Maiasaura fuses into Phorusaura, a good (albeit not the best) endgame Cunning creature that will work great on swapping teams. Finally, Scutosaurus doesn't have a hybrid yet, but it's the last Arena Exclusive creature you'll get, as it's the Arena Exclusive creature of Aviary, which you only get to with 4500 trophies. All are great options, but we think that if you are going to choose from any of the three, Baryonyx will be the best option.
The final four creatures are Eucladoceros, Rajasaurus, Megistotherium and Tyrannosaurus Rex. You can obtain these creatures in the wild, so we would advise you to not go for these creatures during this Event. However, they do have their fair share of Hybrids (aside from Megistotherium), so we would understand it if you chose for any of the four. Our motto will remain though: Use these Events to dart Exclusive creatures, as Events like these will be the best way to gain large amounts of DNA from these creatures in a short time.
