JWA Special Datamine Report 2.12: Boost Changes?

Explorers! Last week, Ludia hinted at a change in boosts that could be coming early next year. Specifically they said they were going to address the many questions they get about boost reset or shuffle events and if we will ever see one again. It seems a new datamine came out today that could answer some of those quesitons.  If you don’t want spoilers, this is your ONE chance to turn away! You have been warned!

So it seems like there may not be another boost shuffle or reset event as we could be getting _boost reset tokens_. This is exactly what it says in code. 
 

Refund Tokens

Refund all tiers : "REFUND ALL TIERS",

Refund token full : "You don't have room for more Stat Boost Refund Tokens! Make room for more by spending Stat Boost Refund Tokens in your Collection.",

Refund token full : "Your Stat Boost Refund Token Inventory is full, and there are no creatures in your Collection equipped with Stat Boosts. Stat Boosts can be collected from Supply Drops, or purchased occasionally in the Market.",

Refund Token Inventory : "Use 1 Stat Boost Refund Token to get all Stat Boosts back from a creature, no matter the tier! Go to your Collection to use a Stat Boost Refund Token."

Refund token attack : "ATTACK STAT BOOST REFUND TOKEN"

Refund token health : "HEALTH STAT BOOST REFUND TOKEN"

Refund token speed : "SPEED STAT BOOST REFUND TOKEN"

Refund tokens : "Use 1 Stat Boost Refund Token to get all Stat Boosts back from a creature, no matter the tier. Reach Player Level to unlock Stat Boosts."

Refund 1 tier : "REFUND 1 TIER"

Refund tokens : "STAT BOOST REFUND TOKENS"

The way they have them separated there seems to be 5 different kinds

• 1 reset all on 1 dino
• reset 1 tier
• reset 1 health tier
• reset 1 attack tier
• reset 1 speed tier. 

So looking at this, it seems like we will be getting different types of tokens. We can either reset all boosts for one creature or we will be able to reset it for a specific stat. This is all the information that was in there so we don't really know much else, but there will be an inventory and a limit so we're hoping that means we can earn them through completing various tasks in-game. This looks pretty promising and we can't wait to hear more about it at the beginning of the year! 

This is huge if boost tokens are coming to the game! We don't know if this will happen the next update or when the next update will even be, but we are hoping they address it in the Community Update they promised us at the beginning of the year.
