Explorers! We’ve got the theme for next weeks Weekly Event and WE LOVE IT! Ludia has decided to celebrate the Second Anniversary of the game with an amazing roster of creatures to dart! Let’s break this infographic down to see what you need to go for!

Before we start with the breakdown, we want to bring your attention to a poll our writer OrigamiRobot is currently doing for a future article. If you haven't participated in it, we would highly recommend doing so! It helps him with his future article!

Featured Creatures: Commons

18 attempts - Monday and Tuesday

  • Archaeotherium
  • Inostrancevia

These two Commons are both Global Anytime, so you should see them on your map a lot. Therefore it won't hurt to sit these two days out. If you go for one of them, be sure to go for Archaeotherium due to the hybrid it has, Keratoporcus. If you go for Inostrancevia for future hybrid potential it’s also not a bad choice, but in general Archaeotherium is the better option.

Featured Creatures: Rares

18 attempts - Wednesday and Thursday

  • Bajadasaurus
  • Kelenken
  • Meiolania
  • Titanoboa GEN2

Before we start, we do want to point out that the amount of attempts doesn’t add up, as it should be 24 attempts going off the fact that each Rare creature should get 6 attempts. If this does change we will let you know.

The Rares offer an amazing selection of creatures that all have their purposes. Bajadasaurus is a Park Exclusive creature that has a good Legendary hybrid in Bajatanodon. Kelenken is a Dawn/Dusk Exclusive creature with the new hybrid Grylenken. Titanoboa GEN2 is another Dawn/Dusk Exclusive creature with the new hybrid Majundaboa. But we suggest you go out and dart Meiolania. While this creature is a Global Anytime creature it makes one of the best creatures in the game with Mammolania. Seeing as you need this Rare to be at Level 20 to start fusing it and that you need 500 DNA per fuse, you will want to get a lot of this DNA. If you don’t want Mammolania or already have it at Level 30, we suggest you go for either of the Dawn/Dusk Exclusives, as those are the hardest to come by.

Featured Creatures: Uniques

1 attempt - Friday

  • Ardentismaxima
  • Quetzorion

Again, the amount of attempts doesn’t add up, but we’ve seen this before with the St. Patricks Event and the Valentines Event. We will let you know if this changes or not.

Friday is the day of the week you don’t want to miss. Both Quetzorion and Ardentismaxima are amazing Low Tyrant creatures, both with a very Unique playstyle (pun 100% intended) compared to each other. You can’t go wrong with both of these creatures, so go for the one that you need.

Featured Creatures: Legendaries

1 attempt - Saturday

  • Indoraptor GEN2
  • Phorusaura
  • Smilocephalosaurus

Once again, the amount of attempts doesn’t add up, but we’ve seen this before with the St. Patricks Event and the Valentines Event. We will let you know if this changes or not.

Saturday is going to be another amazing day to go out and hunt. All of these three Legendaries are amazing in their own right. We all know how much of a menace Indoraptor GEN2 is, Phorusaura is a very deadly speedster with high damage output and Smilocephalosaurus is required to make the amazing Low Tyrant Smilonemys. Again, you can’t really go wrong here. If you want to make the most use of your attempt here you should probably go with Indoraptor GEN2 or Smilocephalosaurus since they require hard-to-get creatures in Blue and Pachycephalosaurus respectively, but Phorusaura is an amazing creature as well which could get a hybrid in the future. You can’t go wrong here.

Featured Creatures: Epics

6 attempts - Sunday

  • Carbonemys
  • Indominus Rex GEN2
  • Thylacotator
  • Titanoboa

Once again, the amount of attempts doesn’t add up. It should be 12, seeing that normally each Epic gives 3 attempts. Last weeks infographic was wrong as well, so we will be keeping you updated on this as well.

We end one of the best weeks in JWA history with an amazing selection of creatures. Thylacotator is an amazing Epic superhybrid, but compared to the other creatures is probably the last you should go for. Titanoboa is a Sanctuary Exclusive creature that makes the hybrids Dilophoboa and Spinoconstrictor. Both hybrids don’t perform very well in the current meta, but seeing that it is Sanctuary Exclusive, it won’t hurt to stock up on it. Indominus Rex GEN2 is a component for the Legendary Indoraptor GEN2 and a very potent Epic hybrid itself. If you struggle to find Echo and/or Tyrannosaurus Rex GEN2 it’s definitely worth stocking up on it. Finally, we got Carbonemys. This Park Exclusive Epic is needed to create Smilonemys and Testacornibus. While the latter isn’t performing amazing, Smilonemys certainly is still very useful. Paired with the Smilocephalosaurus you get earlier in the week you will definitely get a fuse or two on Smilonemys if you dart well.

Overall with the Epics we suggest that you go for either of these three creatures: Carbonemys, Indominus Rex GEN2 and Titanoboa. However, if we were to suggest one creature we would suggest Titanoboa, purely because it is a Sanctuary Exclusive creature. Getting its DNA otherwise is a long and painful process, so be sure to grab some if you need it.

Strike Events, Trials, Scents and Pursuits!

This week we’ve got a nice loadout of Strike Events. All Strike Events feature the same theme as the Event drops, so expect to see a great payoff each Strike Event. We’re getting 5 Rare Strikes (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) and 3 Epic Strikes. The Anniversary Themed Epic Strikes are on Tuesday and Sunday, while the Creature themed Epic Strike on Friday is a Scutosaurus Strike.

Be sure to notice that some Strike Events are only there for 12 hours. Especially on Tuesday and Sunday with the Epic and Rare Strike Event switching with each other. Make sure you keep track of when each Strike Event is so that you don’t miss out on these amazing Strike Events!

The Trials are also Anniversary themed, so they will be very similar to the Strike Events.

We’ve got three Scent Strikes this week. They are on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and we assume that they are Anniversary themed as well. We will keep you updated on that in our Discord server when we know more.

On Wednesday we’ve got a Health Boost Strike. Time to take down the Brachiosaurus, Ornithomimus and Euoplocephalus again! Be sure you don’t miss this one!

As for the Hybrid Pursuit, this week will feature Irritator GEN2 as part of the Scaphotator Pursuit. Certainly not the most interesting creature, as we’re getting plenty of it in the wild and in Incubators.

Parting Words

And that’s it for this weeks overview! This week is one of the best weeks we’ve had in a while, and we’re saying that when we had an Irritator event not long ago! Let us know what you are going for! With this Second Anniversary and the teaser on the Forums not too long ago perhaps we can see some more Update information in this week! We will keep you updated on this if Ludia does reveal something new. Be sure to join our Discord to keep up with us and with the rest of our community! We hope to see you on there!
