Introduction

Explorers! This Weekly Event features are all about Speed Control. Let's go over what we recommend to dart as well as everything else you need to know!

Featured Creatures: Commons

Monday - Tuesday: 18 Attempts

  • Apatosaurus (Global Day/Dawn/Dusk)
  • Stegosaurus (Saturday)

This week's commons are somewhat underwhelming. You might prioritize Stegosaurus, as it currently only spawns on Saturdays. However, if you are working on any of the Apato hybrids (feeds Epic Nodopatosaurus which is used to create Legendary Gigaspikasaur, Nodopatotitan, and Stegodeus), there's no harm in choosing it instead.

Featured Creatures: Rares

Wednesday - Friday: 18 Attempts

  • Amargasaurus (Local 1 Dawn/Dusk/Night)
  • Argentinosaurus (Monday)
  • Tuojiangosaurus (Global Anytime)

Unlike the underwhelming Commons, the Rare options are on the dreamy side. We recommend looking past Amargasaurus and using your attempts for either Argent or Tuoj. Both are needed to create three great raid creatures, Unique Ardentismaxima (Argent), Diorajasaur (Tuoj), and Tuoramoloch (Tuoj). If you struggle to choose, perhaps your tie breaker might be going with Argentina's limited access (Monday only) versus Tuoj's Global Anytime status. You might also split your attempts based on what you happen upon in your hunt.

Featured Creatures: Epics

Saturday - Sunday: 12 Attempts

  • Amargocephalus (Global Anytime)
  • Kentrosaurus (Park Anytime)
  • Nodopatosaurus (Global Day/Dawn/Dusk)
  • Woolly Mammoth (Local 2 Anytime)

We'll start by recommending against the two hybrids here, Amargoceph and Nodopato. While it may seem appealing to bypass the DNA you need to fuse them, their components are fairly easily accessible. Neither of them currently feeds any Super Hybrid of much value.

There's a lot of buzz for Kentro, as it has been contained to parks since 2.0. Kentro should be your top option if you don't have easy access to parks, as it is a key ingredient for the mighty Trykosaurus. Otherwise, Woolly Mammoth is a fine choice. Mammoth feeds two Legendary Hybrids, Mammotherium (which goes on to feed Unique Mammolania) and Entelomoth, so you can truly never have enough of this beast.

Strike Events, Trials, Scents, Treasure Chase, and Hybrid Pursuit!

Strike Events and Trials

Strike Events and Trials are also Speed Control themed with a chance to get the same DNA available to dart. On Friday, we have a Indominus Rex 2 Epic strike, and on Sunday we have an Epic Speed Control Strike as well. During the Weekend, we'll also get an Epic Trial. Finally, we've got the regularly scheduled Boost Strikes on Tuesday (Attack), Thursday (HP), and Saturday (Speed).

Scents

The Themed Scent of this week is Stegosauride Scent. This scent features our favorite spiky friends. Here is the full list:

  • Miragaia
  • Stegosaurus
  • Tuojiangosaurus
  • Wuerhosaurus
  • Kentrosaurus

Treasure Chase

The treasure chase continues on Saturday & (hopefully) Sunday. You get once chance each for between 500 and 2,500 coins with distance not mattering. With the Halloween theme, you also could draw some FIPs, so make sure you have space for those before opening a treasure chest. It has been confirmed that their intent is only for one pop per day. We can only hope they have plans to eventually change this to the original treasure chase where they refreshed throughout the day and offered much more opportunity at free coins.

Hybrid Pursuit

This Week starts the Majundasuchus portion of the Majundaboa pursuit, so keep your eyes out for Majungasaurus!
