Introduction

Welcome back, Explorers! Last week was an exciting pursuit week with Mammoth being in the wild! We are sad to see it go, but it will be back again soon as we should have an Entelomoth pursuit coming in the next few months as we move towards the 1.12 hybrids. The weekly event creatures we can look forward to this week are The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Let's break down what to focus on.

Featured Creatures - Common

Monday -  Wednesday: Commons (45 attempts)

Gallimimus

Parasaurolophus

Stegosaurus

Triceratops Gen 2

Velociraptor

What to Dart

All of these creatures have hybrids and are viable depending on what current arena you are in and what team you are running, so go for what you need most. Velociraptor is always a good choice if you don't know what to go for since it is needed for several high-level hybrids and you are going to need a LOT of it for them. Stegosaurus is also another good option as it's usually only a daily creature and you are going to need to save up for if you plan on running Stegoceratops or Monostegotops on your team.

Featured Creatures - Rare

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (12 attempts)

Triceratops

Tyrannosaurus Rex Gen 2

What to Dart

As with the commons, go for what you need for your team because both of these are great options. They are both daily creatures so you can't get them from scents. We also just had a tournament with T-Rex2 as rewards so if you have plenty of that now, you might want to go for Triceratops. Both have very strong super-hybrids so you honestly can't go wrong with either.

Featured Creatures - Epic

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (9 attempts)

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Pachycephalosaurus

Pteranodon

What to Dart

The graphic says 6 attempts, but it should be 9 since we have 3 creatures. Your best options are going to be Tyrannosaurus Rex or Pachycephalosaurus. Pachy is the best option of the 2 since it is exclusive, but we also know how much T-Rex DNA is needed to create and evolve its 4 different hybrids. Ptera isn't a bad option if you need the DNA and don't have ready access to a park, but we have seen it in several other events up to now.

Strike and Trial Events

The theme in the strike events is The Lost World as well so the creatures found in the incubators will be the same creatures we can dart.

We have 3 Epic Strike Events this week. There is a Lost World themed strike on Tuesday and Sunday as well as a Gryposuchus themed Strike on Friday.

They are also continuing with the new strike format so make sure you are paying attention to those. Where it shows the double strikes in the picture, those strikes will only be out for 12 hours at a time. The first one will start at the reset and go for 12 hrs and then will change to the other strike. So make sure you are completing the first one within 12 hours.

We will also have the Trials again with a theme of The Lost World so keep an eye for those on the map as well.

Themed Scent, Boost Strike, and Pursuit Creature

There is a Fisher Therapod scent strike on Monday, Thursday, and a Saturday. The pool of creatures that can be found in that scent are:

     Common: Irritator Gen 2, Sucomimus

Rare: Irritator, Baryonyx Gen 2, Spinosaurus

     Epic: Baryonyx, Spinosaurus Gen 2

There is also an Attack Boost Strike on Wednesday

This week is also the start of a new Hybrid Pursuit. The featured hybrid for the next 3 weeks will be Schaphotator and Diplocaulus will be global this week so don't be surprised when the little green frog lizard invades your Giga scents.

In Conclusion

So that's what we can look forward to this week. Not the most exciting week ahead (especially after the Mammoth pursuit we had last week), but there are still some things to look forward to. Plus, they teased a new upcoming feature on the forums as well as the next big update this summer! We'll keep you updated about that as we know more. Make sure to join our Discord as well for all the latest information in JWA!
