Introduction
Hello again Explorers! Are you all aboard the PATCH 2.0 hype train now! We are finally getting more information about the upcoming update and we are so excited about it! We'll have another article out soon that outlines all the teasers and information we know so far. Firs, let's get to this week's event theme: Fierce. This isn't a bad theme and it seems like they have made some changes to it to include an exclusive creature! So let's go over what to focus on.
Featured Creatures: Commons
Monday - Tuesday (48 attempts)
- Allosaurus
- Dimetrodon Gen 2
- Irritator Gen 2
- Tarbosaurus
Just like last week, the common creatures aren't the best options of the week. Allosaurus and Irritator Gen 2 are both global so they can be found anywhere (just pop a Giga scent and you'll get a ton). Dimetrodon Gen 2 is a Local 1 creature and while it has a hybrid (Monolometrodon), it is unfortunately not one of the more desired creatures in the game. Even the super-hybrid, Monolorhino needs some work to be relevant in the current meta. Tarbosaurus is night time only creature and it's needed to make Thorodolosaur so if you are running low and are working to create Thor or level it, Tarbo will probably be your best option for the week.
Featured Creatures: Rares
Wednesday - Friday (18 attempts)
- Dimetrodon
- Gorgosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus Rex Gen 2
All 3 options are either local or daily creatures so go for what you need most. Tyrannosaurus Rex 2 and Dimetrodon are probably the best choices based on their hybrids. T-Rex2 has several hybrid potentials with 2 of them being among the best in the game (Indominus Rex 2 and Indoraptor 2). Dimetrodon also has 2 fantastic hybrids in Tryostronix and Mangapyritor.

Saturday - Sunday (9 attempts)
- Allosaurus Gen 2
- Concavenator
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
They finally update this theme and it looks like we are getting Allosaurus Gen 2 to dart! This is currently a sanctuary exclusive creature so this is the only way to get it's DNA. That pretty much means this is the one to go for this weekend! Seriously though, go for the exclusive, it has a pretty good hybrid (Alloraptor) that always has the potential to get a future hybrid. And this is the first time Allo 2 has been featured in a weekly event so we don't know when we will have the opportunity again.
Strike Events, Trials, Scents and Pursuits!
Strike Events and Trials
Before we start we have to notify you of the fact that Ludia has stopped doing the double Strikes. So no more 12 hour Strikes on the map, all of them are pure 24 hour Strike Events. This greatly hinders both Coin and DNA gathering, unfortunately.
The Strikes this week are Fierce themed, but the pool is a little different than the creatures you can dart. The Commons are the same, but the rares have Kaprosuchus instead of Dimetrodon and the epics are Tyrannosaurus Rex, Baryonyx, and Secodontosaurus.
We will have 2 epic strikes this week with an Entelochops themed strike on Friday and a Fierce strike on Sunday. There is also a Speed Boost strike on Wednesday
Scents and Pursuit Creature
The themed scent this week is Crocodylidae and has the chance to spawn the following creatures:
- Gryposuchus
- Kaprosuchus
- Postosuchus
- Purussaurus Gen 2
- Nundasuchus
- Purussaurus
- Sarcosuchus
We also have 2 regular scent strikes. The reward on those can range from a 5 min common scent, all the way to an epic scent if you get lucky!
This is the second week of the Spinoconstrictor Pursuit creature and right now the Dilophosaurus Gen 2 is wild on the map.
