1.8 Community Tier List

Every time we put out a tier list for a new patch we know we can't please everyone. It is impossible for everyone to agree on every single ranking on the list (in fact even the people working on the tier list don't agree 100% with it!). But ultimately, we are thinking of you when we put the tier list together. We go on our discord and check out our tier list discussion channel and really try to make the best list possible based on your feedback. 

We write a lot about JWA and talk a lot about JWA, but we will humbly admit we aren't inherent experts. We get things wrong and our wonderful community is usually quick to point out when we do! And we appreciate that. We want the tier list to represent what the majority of the community thinks and we believe we got pretty close in 1.7. We think we did even better in 1.8, but we know there are still questions about it. 

Last patch, we did a community tier list after our official tier list was released and it was very successful. There were only 2 creatures that didn't get a 50% majority vote, and you will see that one of those creatures (Procerathomimus) moved tiers in the 1.8 list. So we are listening and we really appreciate your feedback. It was so successful in fact, that we decided to do it again! As reminder of what our 1.8 tier list looks like click the link below. 

We had over 500 people fill out our community tier list survey in 1.7 and we read all of the comments and feedback about it. The length of the previous survey was brought up several times, so this time we decided to limit the community list to Alpha - Tyrant. Beta - Hatchling tiers didn't have many changes but if there is a dino in there you think should be in a higher tier, make sure to let us know at the end of the survey!
