Introduction

Hello Explorers! With the end of the year closing in quickly we wanted to give y'all an update on some things that are happening soon so you can keep an eye on them. Yesterday, Ludia had a big announcement on the forum that got the community talking and GamePress has a big article coming up in the next couple of weeks you aren't going to want to miss.

Community Updates

Yesterday, on the forum, Ludia announced a new initiative they will be starting in 2022 called "Community Updates". This was their post:

Hello DPG members,

We’re excited to officially share that a new community communication initiative will be launched in early 2022!

This will be in the form of a “Community Update”. Although we can’t reveal all the goodies just yet, the community will get a glance at some early information of what’s to come in Jurassic World Alive. We anticipate launching this initiative in hopes to create a more communicative and transparent space for the community and provide a clearer understanding of where the team will focus its efforts on. We believe this will allow our passionate Community to be more involved to guide the team in shaping the game and help us make wiser decisions.

We also would like to take the opportunity to address the subject of stat boosts. We hear and understand that the Community has had several questions regarding this important subject. We appreciate all your questions, comments and feedback and your passion for the game never goes unnoticed. The team continues to prioritize this topic. For the remainder of 2021, there will be no changes or Stat Boost events. We will share more detailed information on this topic in the new year!

We look forward to sharing our very first update in 2022 and as always, happy playing DPG family! Happy holidays and sending warm wishes to all!

So there are a lot of things to break down from that post. First of all, GamePress is super excited about the new initiative and we can't wait to see the first one at the beginning of the year. We hope it includes information that the community has been asking for and improves on the communication we have so desperately been needing.

The second part of the post relates to boosts. We have been asking for a shuffle or reset event for quite some time now (ever since resilient changes). The announcement above indicated we won't see any changes or events with boosts for the remainder of 2021, but it seems like we will get more information starting in 2022. That's not too far away so we hope to see what the first Community Update says and if it will include that information.

Ludia offices will be closed from December 24th until January 2nd 2022.

Teaser: Interview with Ludia

In addition to the Community Updates that will start in 2022, GamePress is super excited to announce that we will have an article coming out before the holiday break that includes an interview with some of the Ludia team. GamePress submitted questions to various Ludia teams (including the design and dev teams) and they are currently compiling those answers and getting them to us in the next couple of weeks. We will then publish an article with all of the information they provide. We won't go into the specific questions just yet as we aren't sure if they are able to answer all of them, but we are very excited to share this with the community. Keep an eye out on our Twitter and Discord for when that gets published.
