Introduction

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. This week's theme is Wound as the featured creatures, and High HP as the strike theme. We'll break down what to dart and what to expect from the strike events. So let's get to it!

weekly events

Featured Creatures - Common

Monday - Wednesday: Commons (27 attempts)

Dimorphodon

Sarcosuchus

Suchomimus

What to Dart

Similar to last week the options for the common dinos aren't super exciting. Dimorphodon is a global dawn/dusk spawn, Sarcosuchus can be found in parks, and Suchomimus is a Local 4 dweller. All 3 of them are components of hybrids, but Sarcosuchus makes up the strongest of the 3 hybrids, Sarcorixis. Since it is a park spawn it could be harder to come by for some people so this would be a good option of the three.

Featured Creatures - Rare

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (18 attempts)

Scaphognathus

Spinosaurus

Suchotator

What to Dart

All 3 of these creatures can be found in local 4. Spinosaurus and Suchotator are Anytime while Scaphognathus is only Night, Dawn, & Dusk. Because Scaphognathus is more restricted by time of day it is available we would suggest focusing on. It also doesn't have a hybrid yet so it never hurts to stock up on DNA just in case.

Featured Creatures - Epic

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (12 attempts)

Darwinopterus

Dimodactylus

Spinosaurus Gen2

Spinotahraptor

What to Dart

Since hybrids can be fused, darting Dimodactylus or Spinotahraptor is not a good use of attempts in our opinion. Instead, it's best to focus on Spinosaurus Gen2 or Darwinopterus. Darwin is harder to obtain and has two uniques, but it’s uniques aren’t as great. Spino is easier to obtain and it’s unique is top tier

Spinosaurs Gen2 is a global anytime spawn that is a component of the very strong Tyrant Dino, Erlikospyx. since it is a global spawn, you can technically pull it from scents, but can't really target it as you can local creatures. Erlikospyx is a great addition to any team so this is a great option if you are working on it.

Darwinopterus is a daily spawn on Saturdays. It has 2 hybrids, Stygidaryx and Pterovexus. While both of these hybrids aren't Tyrant tier and not seen much in the higher arenas, they are much harder to create. Since Darwin is a daily spawn, you can't scent for it either so this is a good option if you haven't created any of its hybrids yet.

Strike Events

The strike event theme this week is High HP. All of the epics in this pool are very good, but usually they only give 1 per incubator like the usual 2. The following dinos are all possible from the strike events:

Commons: Apatosaurus, Allosaurus, Parasurolophus, Brontotherium

Rares: Amargasaurus, Argentinosaurus, Giraffatitian

Epics: Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Ouranosaurus

We are excited that there are 3 epic strikes again this week! There is a Nodopotosaurus themed one on Friday. And 2 High HP themes strikes over the weekend. One on Friday/Saturday, and one Sunday. We will keep you up to date with strike guides as those come out and we know the adversaries you will be facing!

Treasure Chase, Themed Scent & Boost Strike

Just like last week, the red treasure chests will be out and about again this week. They will spawn every 15 min so collect as many as you can while they are out! There is a themed scent strike on Tuesday that we believe is a Dracorex scent, and it looks like there is an Attack Boost Strike. All in all, it looks like a lot to look forward to this week.

In Conclusion

The new Wound event is a nice change to the dinos we have been seeing in the supply drops, but with it being in the strikes a couple of weeks ago, it would be nice to see something different (like Hybrid Legacy?). And High HP is a fantastic theme and at least all 3 epic dinos are worth having. We will make sure to keep you updated on any other events or changes that we see and make sure to join our discussion on our discord!
