JWA Weekly Events Dec 9 - 15: Immune & Wound

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. This week's theme is Immune & Wound. We are honestly a little disappointed there aren't any news creatures features (especially since a majority of them seem to be event exclusive). It looks like we'll get some extra gifts this week so we are excited to see what those bring. We'll break down what to dart and what you can expect in the strike events. So let's get to it!

Monday -  Wednesday: Commons (27 attempts)

What to Dart

The commons really depend on what you need. Dimetrodon Gen 2 is a component of Monolometrodon, which has a unique hybrid this patch. Gallimimus is an incubator exclusive and those are always a smart choice, but most people are swimming in it at this point. And Ophiacodon is a component of the hybrid Ankylocodon. So if you are working towards any of these hybrids you choose the creature that you need the most of and you should be good. If you can't decide, just still with the old rule of dart the exclusive and go for Gallimimus. 

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (18 attempts)

Dimetrodon

Ornithomimus

What to Dart

This one should be pretty easy for most people. Ankylocodon is a hybrid that is easily fused from common ingredients and Ornithomimus is a global spawn. Dimetrodon can be found in local 3 but it is a key component of the Magnapyritor and Tryostronix. If you run either of these creatures on your team, you are going to need a lot of time so it's smart to stock up while you can. 

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (9 attempts)

Procerathomimus 

What to Dart

Postimetrodon is a good option for anyone that is trying to level up both Magna and Tryos because it allows you to save any Dimetrodon you get to go towards Magna. Procerathomimus and its ingredients have been featured in several events and while one of its components is exclusive, we have been given a lot of DNA for it recently. Secodontosaurus used to be the joke epic of Local 3, but now it is needed for the incredibly strong Ardentismaxima, this will probably be the creature everyone will focus on. 

The theme in the strike events is Wound. There have been speculations about Woolly Rhino being a great creature for this theme, but we did not find it as an option when we went to look through the code. The creatures that can be found in the strike events are:

Common: Dimorphodon, Suchomimus, Sarcosuchus

Rare: Spinosaurus, Scaphognathus, Suchotator

Epic: Dimodactylus, Darwinopterus, Spinosaurus Gen 2, Spinotahraptor

There are 2 epic strike events this week. There is a Postimetrodon themed strike on Friday and Sunday and Wound strike over the weekend. We will keep you up to date with strike guides as those come out and we know the adversaries you will be facing! 

There is a themed scent strike on Thursday that is a Nimble Therapod Scents, and it looks like there is an Attack Boost Strike on Wednesday. All in all, it looks like a lot to look forward to this week!

It looks like the Holiday Treasure Chase is back as well! We aren't sure if it will be exactly the same as last year, but instead of treasure chests, there will be gift boxes out on the map. Each day will have a different color: Red, Green, or Purple. You can open one of these gifts a day and each one has a chance at a variety of different prizes.

Purple Treasure

This Treasure is specialized in Coins, and can contain one of the following gifts:

• 2,500 Coins
• 5,000 Coins
• 10,000 Coins
• Content equal to a Rare Incubator
• Content equal to an Epic Incubator
• Content equal to a Premium Incubator
   

Green Treasure

This Treasure is specialized in Jurassic Cash, and can contain one of the following gifts:

• 25 Cash
• 100 Cash
• 250 Cash
• Content equal to a Rare Incubator
• Content equal to an Epic Incubator
• Content equal to a Premium Incubator

Red Treasure

This Treasure is specialized in content found in Incubators, and can contain one of the following gifts :

• Content equal to a Standard Incubator
• Content equal to a Large Incubator
• Content equal to a Rare Incubator
• Content equal to an Epic Incubator
• Content equal to a Premium Incubator

While the theme isn't the most exciting, we are extremely excited about the Holiday Chase! If it functions the same way as it did last year there is the potential to get a lot of pretty awesome gifts.
