JWA Weekly Events Sept 30 - Oct 6: Stunning & Flee

Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

Hello again Explorers! The weekly event calendar has been published and it looks like we are getting a stunning week. We have to admit, this week hurts a little bit to see since the recent changes to Ceratopsians. These would have been amazing dinos to have in the last patch. While they aren't bad, they just aren't as good as they once were. Still lots of good options, however, so let's break down what you should be focusing on.

weekly events 09.30 - 10.06

Featured Creatures - Common

Monday - Wednesday: Commons (27 attempts)

Einiosaurus

Iguanadon

Triceratops Gen 2

What to Dart

Einiosaurus can be found in Local 2 and we sadly have to admit its hybrid Einasuchus got hit hard this patch. Iguanadon is a daily spawn. This is a great option for anyone that is running Edmontoguanadon on their team. Eddie also doesn't have a hybrid so you might want to think about stocking up for a possible one in the future. Triceratops Gen 2 is a local 3 dino and a component of Dracoceratops. While still a very strong hybrid in the lower arenas we feel a shift coming and don't think it will be as end game viable as it once was.

Featured Creatures - Rare

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (24 attempts)

Einiasuchus

Edmontosaurus

Tenontosaurus

Triceratops

What to Dart

Einiasuchus is a hybrid that can be found in Local 2. As we previously mentioned, it got hit hard this patch and there are better options with the rares. Edmontosaurus can be found in Local 3 and is the other half of the component needed for Edmontoguanadon. Tenontosaurus is park locked and makes up the very strong hybrid Tenontorex (which got a slight buff in damage this patch). Triceratops is also a good option since it can only be found on Sundays and you can't scent for it.

Featured Creatures - Epic

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (9 attempts)

Sinoceratops

Stegoceratops

Stygimoloch

What to Dart

As with many of the epic choices what you dart might depend on what hybrid you are currently working on. Sinoceratops is a local 1 dino and featured in several different themes so it may not be the best option. Stegoceratops is a local 2 dino, but can be created by fusing Stegosaurus and Triceratops (which are weekend daily dinos). Stygimoloch is a pretty strong epic dino on its own and while it's hybrids might not be as good this patch, it is an incubator exclusive so it's always smart to go for the exclusive DNA.

Strike Events

The strike theme is Flee. We've seen this theme before and these are the dinos you can get from the strike towers:

Common: Dracorex Gen2, Hatzegopteryx, Parasaurolophus, Stygimoloch Gen 2

Rare: Delta, Edmontosaurus, Scaphognathus

Epic: Maiasaura Pachycephalosaurus, Stygimoloch

There are also 2 epic strikes this week. The themed strike on Friday looks to be a Gorgosuchus Epic Strike and the Sunday strike is the Flee Theme

Treasure Chase, Themed Scent & Boost Strike

There is a treasure chase on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday so make sure to go out there and get those coins! The themed scent strike on Tuesday is an Ankylosauride Scent Strike, and it looks like there is a Attack Boost Strike this week as well.

In Conclusion

Not the most exciting week, so might be a chance to take a break if you need to. We will make sure to keep you updated on any other events or changes that we see and make sure to join our discussion on our discord!
