Introduction

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. This week's theme is Stun with a Fast theme in the strike events. We'll break down what to dart and what to expect from the strike events. So let's get to it!

Iguanadon

Edmontosaurus
Einasuchus
Tenontosaurus
Triceratops

featured creatures

What to dart

You have an option of 3 common dinos. Einosaurus can be found all over local 2. Its hybrid, Einasuchus, is a very strong dino on many teams and can be viable in the lower arenas as well as the upper ones. Iguanadon can be found on Fridays. And it is all over the place. You probably can't walk anywhere without tripping over several. It is a component of Edmontoguanadon, a very strong epic hybrid. Since it is so easy to find, it isn't worth the attempts in our opinion. Triceratops Gen2 is a component of the incredibly powerful Tyrant, Dracoceratops so this would be our recommendation. You can never have enough DNA when it is 500 DNA per a fuse so it never hurts to stock up.

You have attempts at 4 rare dinos in the middle of the week. Edmontosaurus can be found in local 3 and is the other half of the epic hybrid Edmontoguanadon. Once again, a very good hybrid, but not the best option. As previously mentioned, Einasuchus is a good very hybrid, but its components are easy to find and it is usually better to fuse rather then waste attempt on it. Tenontosaurus and Triceratops are both great choices for the rare attempts. Tenontorex is park locked and you will need 500 DNA per fuse on the Tyrant hybrid Tenontorex so a case can definitely be made to use your attempt on it. Triceratops is a daily dino on Sundays. It is part of the hybrid Stegoceratops, which is what you need to fuse for the Tyrant and 1v1 king, Monostegotops. Since you can only find it one day a week, and can't use any scents to attract it, this is a fantasic option since the super-hybrid is one of the best in the game right now.

Finally we have the epic dinos. Sinoceratops is a key component in Thor and Rinex (2 of the best dinos in the arena right now) so we think that is the clear choice right now. It is has moved back to Local 1, but if you are running both hybrids on your team it never hurts to stock up. Stygimoloch is arena locked and makes up Paramoloch, which fuses into Tuoramoloch. Both of these are very versatile dinos that can play well on a team and since Stygi is hard to come by this isn't a bad choice if you are running the hybrids for it. Stegoceratops is a strong hybrid on its own, but its super hybrid, Monostegotops, is even better. You might be able to save some Stegosaurus and Triceratops DNA by darting the hybrid, but it is usually better to fuse on hybrids. Plus you have the opportunity to dart both of its components earlier in the week.

TLDR: Our recommendation is to dart Triceratops Gen2, Tenontosaurs, Triceratops, and Sinoceratops.

Strike Events

The strike event theme this week is Fast. We just saw this as a Featured Creature even a couple of weeks ago so the pool of dinos should be the same: Deinocheirus,GallimimusVelociraptorPhorusrhacosCharlieDelta, OrnithomimusBlueDarwinopterus, and Procerathomimus.

There are 2 epic strike events and one of them is a themed incubator. Friday will feature a Stygimoloch themed strike and incubator that will have the following foes:

Tricertaops (lvl 30)
Einiosaurus (lvl 30)
Stygimoloch (lvl 30)

The weekend will have a 5 step fast themed strike with the following steps:

Step 1: Deinocheirus (lvl 18), Ornithomimus (lvl 19)

Step 2: Charlie (lvl 19), Darwin (lvl 20)

Step 3: Delta (lvl 20),  Blue (lv l21)

Step 4: Delta (lvl 20), Procerathomimus (lvl 21), Darwin (lvl 22)

Step 5: Blue (lvl 21),  Procerathomimus(lvl 22), Darwin (lvl 23)

We aren't sure if step 4 and 5 are Procerataurus or Procerathomimus but we are pretty sure it is Procerathomimus. We will have strike Guides for both of these events to make sure to keep checking back!

Themed Scent

In addition to the weekly events, it looks like they also release another themed scent for the week. For 200 HC you can buy a scent to attract Therapods. This is what you can expect from it:
Therapod Scent Chances

So is it worth it? Depends on if you have access to Local 1 and 2. If you don't have access and find yourself constantly requesting the common dinos found in those locals (especially Deniocheirus and Dilophosuaurs) this could be a good investment for you. Just remember that you are guaranteed 1 rare spawn and the rest will most likely be common spawns. So if you don't need any of the common dinos, this might not be best for you. Most people seem pretty excited about it though since many of the creatures featured in it are components of Unique Tyrant Dinos like Erlikospyx and Diloracheirus.

In Conclusion

This week's creatures are a nice change to what we have seen, but seeing the fast theme again so soon in the strike towers is a bit of a disappointment. We will make sure to keep you updated on any other events or changes that we see and make sure to join our discussion on our discord!
