- Kyogre will be the Tier 5 Raid Boss from June 18th to the 27th
- Double candy bonuses for catching and hatching also available during this time
- 1/2 hatch distance and 1 guaranteed Rare Candy per raid
June 18th marks the beginning of the second phase of the Legendary Line Up announced by Niantic on May 23rd.
Cresselia is leaving raid battles and in its place comes Kyogre, the Water-type legendary from Gen 3. It's regarded as the best Water-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO, and will continue to be in the future.

Kyogre is expected to also bring a selection of Water-type counters for the raid levels one to four.
In addition to the new raid boss, the bonuses from Professor Willow's Global Challenge will be in effect, granting:
- 2x hatch Candy
- 2x catch Candy
- 1/2 egg hatching distance
- 1 guaranteed Rare Candy per raid
