Introduction
Welcome back to the Scarlet Devil Tower! Thought you saw the last of the underlings and grunts? Well, they’re here for one more hurrah - every non-boss floor is nothing but the generic enemies we all know and love. To compensate, they have ATK UP buffs and ATK & DEF DOWN debuffs, but uh. They still aren’t all that deadly, so just beat em up.

First thing’s first, you absolutely don’t want to bring Yang attackers to this fight unless you’re aiming for a Full Break or prioritize taking out the Moon Fairy Maid first. After that, you’ll want to keep in mind that Chen effectively takes almost no damage from Moon or Wood attacks due to her skill as well as her resists, and has a pseudo resistance to Metal as well - though this isn’t a factor if you Full Break her too. So either keep those issues in mind when choosing your attackers, or just Full Break them.

Uh oh. Chen’s back, and she brought her mom. And her mom’s pissed. Keep in mind that Chen is again, effectively immune to Moon & Wood and resistant to Metal whilst she can use skills. Ran, meanwhile, is effectively immune to Sun and Earth, and resists Metal whilst she can use skills. As such, Sun, Fire, Water, and Star are the elements of choice for this fight. The EX attack this time around is a major pain if you’re aiming for Breaks, but as always you can just switch at the start of the fight if it interferes with your gameplan - do keep in mind though it’s only 3 turns, so setup teams can just ignore it and burst them down on the fourth turn.
