For her newspaper, Aya Shameimaru comes up with stories, collects info, fabricates the info, and then writes them up as scoops for her newspaper. She does this every day. She is probably flying all around Gensokyo today too.

The Bunbunmaru Newspaper is a self-published newspaper that Aya creates and edits the articles for. The process is similar to making a doujinshi, or self-published work, with satirical comics alongside the text. Keep up the hard work, doujinshi makers!

Aya flies around Gensokyo and writes articles on a variety of subjects, from humans to youkai and everything in between. If you suddenly feel a strong gale, Aya might be nearby. You should take a look around and keep an eye out, so that you do not end up in a story for Aya's newspaper.

Aya's Bunbunmaru Newspaper and Hatate's Kakashi Spirit News seemed to be on bad terms, with both newspapers complaining about the other in articles, but a look at a fairly recent publication named Alternative Facts shows that their conflict seems to have died down. They seem to be pushing each other forward as rivals instead.

If you ever have the chance to make a newspaper with Aya, it would probably be difficult to keep up with her forceful and speedy coverage. But don't give up!
