Character Analysis
Koishi Komeiji was released on September 3rd, 2021 in Festival: The Open & Closed Eyes.
Koishi Komeiji is a satori originally introduced to us as the Extra stage boss of Subterranean Animism and Satori Komeiji's younger sister. Koishi is unique among the typical satori in the sense that she doesn't actually have the ability to read minds like her older sister. This is because, loathing the fact she was hated by the world for reading their minds, she intentionally sealed away her third eye. Instead, Koishi's abilities revolve around the unconscious. This is because Koishi's "mind", or third eye, is closed. Because of this Koishi's presence cannot be known by other beings unless she allows it, and after interacting with her, most people tend to forget about her and their interactions with her entirely. Koishi is also able to manipulate other's unconsciousness which translates into making them see anything she wants and often times forcing them to see their own weaknesses. These abilities often lead Koishi to taking up a more scary role albeit unintentionally. However, Koishi pays this no mind and doesn't go out of her way to paint this image of herself. Outside of her abilities Koishi is a carefree and playful young girl though more often than not she appears to be more unsettling than she'd like. In Touhou LostWord, Koishi appears in a similar fashion and ends up being an A-Tier unit.
For farming purposes Koishi is nothing special. At T1 she can hit P2 easily using one of her skills, however, that only gives a small damage boost with an extra Water Break to her single target Last Word. Because of this Koishi rarely does the job in one turn, making her about average for quick clears.
In challenging levels however Koishi can shine when placed in the right situations. Combining all of her Spell Cards Koishi has 9 Water Breaks and 3 Wood Breaks making her a potent option for breaking the Barriers of units weak to Water Elements. This, of course, implies that she spends multiple terms gaining Spirit Power which can take a while. She also has self-crit accuracy and attack support to help maximize her damage using her skills.
All-in-all Koishi proves herself as a decent overall unit who can pack a punch in the right scenarios.

Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on January 27, 2023)
Spell Card
If you need Breaks out of Koishi, her best bet is Spirit Power UP. Otherwise, if you need damage out of her, alternate between Yin ATK UP and CRIT ATK UP, in order to maximize her output. For stat sticks, look to Yin ATK.
Last Word
Since Koishi already bolsters her own Accuracy to a very reliable point, she'll typically prefer Thunder Beat in any fight where she's given a chance to set up, as it provides a unique mix of Energy and Wood DMG UP that perfectly compliments her Last Word. Otherwise, look to anything that provides Yin ATK UP, boosts Energy DMG, or if you're truly pressed for options, anything that boosts either Wood or Water DMG.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Koishi's skills are nothing crazy. Leveling up Insatiable Curiosity should be your first priority as you'll want as much Spirit Power as you can get for those sweet, sweet elements and it gives a higher average damage overall in turn 1 situations over the rest of her skills due to the front end of Koishi's Spell Cards lacking in crit. Automatic Thoughts and Closed Eye should be leveled up in unison with Automatic Thoughts taking priority.
Character Strengths
+Has a respectably powerful Solo targeting Last Word that deals tremendous damage if given time to set up.
+Slightly above average access to Water breaks, with both Solo and All access to 1/1/3 Breaks for 0/1/2 Spirit Power
Character Weaknesses
-Requires some setup time to get the most out of her
-Many of her buffs and debuffs rely on bullet line RNG
-No team utility
