Fans of her beguiling songs can hear them even if they cover their ears or seal themselves in a vacuum. And once they hear them, the songs never leave their heads. Could there be a greater blessing for music enthusiasts?

In the past, lightning, another form of electricity, was thought to be produced by some kind of invisible substance or force, which is why it's called ''denki'' in Japanese, written with the kanji for ''electricity'' and ''energy.'' However, many ages passed before anyone figured out how lightning actually works. The electricity wielded by kaiju is the electricity from when it was still a mystery.

Character Analysis
Mystia Lorelei (Kaiju of Darkness and Sound) was released on May 5th 2023 on Prayer “080-02 Night Sparrow-Type” Ultra Festival.
It would seem that as of speaking, the Kaiju Professor has successfully concocted 4 mutations with the Baku-Type, Hakutaku-Type, Firefly-Type and now the Night-Sparrow Type. Speaking of the Night Sparrow-Type Kaiju, or Kaiju 080-02 as she is also identified as, she enjoys putting on an electrifying show with her alluring voice accompanied with her newfound dragon energy, and on top of it all, she has ambitions to cultivate a loyal fanbase that will be Deaf To All But Her Music.
H5 Mystia Lorelei is a Destroy-Class Friend that specializes in Wood and Star breaks, Anomaly utility via Blind and Paralyze inflicting/breaking, offensive buffs to herself or her team, and debuffing her enemies.
As an Offensive Support
- CRIT ATK buffs for her team via Skill 3 and by Grazing.
- Slight Yang ATK Support via Skill 2.
- Increases the team’s Agility via First Spell Card Pre-ATK.
As an Attacker
- High Yin ATK stat, being 1905.
- Spirit Power buffs for herself via Skill 3 (1.75) and her Second Spell Card’s Post-ATK (1.50). Passive 3 also has a low chance of providing 1.25 Spirit Power per turn.
- As well as the teamwide buffs above, she can also increase her own CRIT ATK via her Spread Shot bullet line.
- Can slightly increase her Yin ATK via Skill 2.
- Increases her own Yin DEF via First Spell Card Pre-ATK, which goes toward her Hard Scaling.
- Slight Accuracy buffs via Spread Shot and First Spell Card bullet lines.
- Moderate Killer range, including Soul, Lunar Capital, Lunarian and Musician.
- Many Wood and Star breaks, and with her ability, does 40% more damage if effective on an enemy, but does 15% less damage if the enemy resists it instead.
- Abundance in Elastic on her First Spell Card as well as Precise on her Second Spell Card and Last Word. The former makes it more likely to land CRITs when her enemies have ATK buffs, and the latter is similar but applies to Agility buffs instead.
As a Debuffer
- Evasion debuffs via Skill 1 and Last Word Pre-ATK
- CRIT DEF debuffs via Skill 1, Last Word Pre-ATK, sometimes her Passive 1 and sometimes her Focus Shot bullet lines.
- CRIT Evasion debuffs via Skill 3.
- Yin DEF debuffs via Last Word Pre-ATK.
- Accuracy debuffs via Second Spell Card Pre-ATK.
As a Utility
- Inflicts Paralyze anomalies onto her enemies via Skill 1 (All), First Spell Card Pre-ATK (Solo), Last Word Pre-ATK (All) and thanks to her ability, can also inflict them to the unit who inflicts them onto her.
- Inflicts Blind anomalies onto her enemies via Second Spell Card Pre-ATK.
- Both Paralyze and Blind anomalies can also be broken via Second Spell Card and Last Word, both at 3P.
- Despite the following being RNG based, she has a chance to Stun her enemies via Impact on Spread Shot and Spell Card 2, mainly the latter.
- Is able to Delay her enemies thanks to her First Spell Card (Solo) and Last Word (All) when at 3P and 2P respectively.
- Thanks to her Passive 3, If her HP is below 25%, there is a 65% chance for her to take 0 damage from enemies during that turn.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on May 20, 2023)
Spell Card
Yin ATK and Spirit Power are important for H5 Mystia, with Yin ATK lacking in her kit aside from a mere Skill 2 buff, and Spirit Power is needed to reach 3P for Paralyze/Blind breaking or for a fully powered Last Word. To solve the Yin ATK buff issue, Overwhelming Firepower provides 3 Stages of Yin ATK and even a 10% boost in Wood bullets as a bonus. Then there is The Witch of Scarlet Dreams, granting 2.00 Spirit Power, although it could also be replaced with Mountain of Faith since that card also grants a boost to Light bullets by 30%. Speaking of which, Puppeteer and Necromancer is also a great pick for the Light bullets in question, as they get a huge 50% boost, really benefiting her Second Spell Card. For the First Spell Card however, it has both Sharp and Wood as part of it, making Sporadically Margaret a solid pick here. Lastly, if you are still a little concerned with H5 Mystia’s Accuracy, cards like the classic Valued Tools of the Trade or the revered Ability Cards? will certainly remedy those issues.
Last Word
Sporadically Margaret is not only the winner here, but also arguably benefits H5 Mystia more than the Friend it was designed specifically for! Being able to take advantage of a 50% increase in Sharp on all lines as well as an 5/6 of the bullet lines being Wood getting a 40% boost is definitely a huge benefit. Since the 50% Sharp boost is huge on its own, should you not have this card, good thing I’m Alright! also has this effect as well as Line 6 benefiting from a 50% increase in Star bullets. Finally, Little Sister and Sweet is the best bet if you are focused more on Wood than Sharp, with it having a 50% boost in Wood.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Due to Spirit Power being as helpful as it is, our third Skill, Electron Acceleration is up first. It also provides a hefty amount of CRIT ATK for the team and some slight CRIT Evasion on her enemies. Next up could go either way, but we will choose the second Skill, Bioelectric Discharge. It’s the only natural source of H5 Mystia’s Yin ATK buffs (2 stages), so that is really important here. Also doesn’t hurt to have Yang ATK support for the team. Last not not least is Audio File. Hurting her foes with Paralyze anomalies as well as Evasion and CRIT DEF debuffs helps too, and if you feel that the Paralyze utility is more important than the slight Yin ATK buff, you may manage fine swapping the orders of Skills 1 and 2.
Character Strengths
Breakthrough Singer
When it comes to breaks, H5 Mystia works very well with using her Wood and Star breaks to her advantage (slightly more toward the former), as well as Paralyzing and (night-)blinding her enemies, with a way of breaking both with a fully powered Second Spell Card or Last Word. Her Ability also means she gives Paralyze anomalies to whoever inflicts it onto her, which can also be shockingly helpful.
High Voltage Atmosphere
H5 Mystia also has a mix of support and debuff to use to her advantage, such as team CRIT ATK buffs from her Skill 3 and Grazing, as well as Yang ATK and Agility support via Skill 2 and First Spell Card Pre-ATK respectively. As for debuff potential, it could come in handy as she can debuff the CRIT DEF, Yin DEF, Evasion and CRIT Evasion of her enemies.
Character Weaknesses
Full Potential is Extremely Situational
Despite her natural Yin ATK stat at 1905, minor support and some convenient debuffs, H5 Mystia will sometimes need the stars to align perfectly in order to truly shine, because she lacks her own CRIT Accuracy, and to some extent, Yin ATK buffs. On top of that, her Killer range is rather limited (Soul, Lunar Capital, Lunarian and Musician to name a few) which makes her CRIT ATK buffs not always effective and her Ability really drives home how hit or miss she can be when it comes to taking the spotlight. As a Wood and Star elemental user, if these are effective on her target(s), they will be 40% more powerful, but if they are resisted instead, they will deal 15% less damage. Due to the reasons above, you’ll have to be very careful with how you go about using H5 Mystia, especially in terms of enemies, their Tags and Weaknesses.
