Natsu Giri (a Touhou LW original) refers to mist that forms in the summer. This is a perfect temperament for this laidback Remilia from the Gensokyo of Eternal Summer.

She's managed to successfully prepare against sunlight and running water! (Strong against Sun Essence & Water Phase.)
But her final test will be against her little sister. (Strong against Metal Phase but weak against Star Essence.)

Bottle rockets shoot out water making them kind of dangerous, but they're still super fun to play with.

The Spread Shot of Remilia Scarlet from the world delirious with eternal summer (a Touhou LW original). She fires a prototype bottle rocket. The V in the name is not the Roman numeral for five but the letter V. The idea for the name came from a certain rocket launched from Cape Canaveral which Patchouli learned about in an outside-world science magazine she was obsessed with at the time. Of course, this rocket's design is completely different.

The Focus Shot of Remilia Scarlet from the world delirious with eternal summer (a Touhou LW original). She fires a bottle rocket built to fly to the moon. The V in the name is not the letter V but the Roman numeral for five. The idea for this name also came from the outside-world science magazine Patchouli was obsessed with. It has the same design structure as the moon rocket Patchouli once built, which was also known as the Sumiyoshi Rocket. You could even say this is a compact, mass-producible version of the Sumiyoshi Rocket! (At least, that's what Remilia believes.) Most bottle rockets use a similar design to this one.

The ability of Remilia Scarlet from the world delirious with eternal summer (a Touhou LW original). This ability is essentially the same as Remilias from other worlds. Remilia caused an incident using scarlet mist in this world too. And, just like in other worlds, it was resolved by humans. However, they did so in a way more fitting for this world.

It was extremely hot surrounded by the thick fog, which made it difficult to produce continuously. Also, the color wasn't as scarlet as Remilia had hoped.

''You were furious on that night too''
''Yes, but every time a wave came, you took more damage. It must've hurt, right''

Even at night, Remilia was at a significant disadvantage on the beach. ''Why here? Why did we have to fight here?!'' she remembered thinking to herself.

Remilia was tired of reflecting on the past. She turned to her beloved sister and said, ''Yeah, well, what's done is done. Things are different now. Take a look. My arsenal of rockets is so big it practically covers the whole beach!'' All she had to do was say the word, and the rockets would launch in an instant.

''Patchouli's a genius! With these, I could go toe-to-toe with a Makai army. No, I could defeat one!'' She thought of the rockets as her new loyal subjects. ''They can fly all the way to the moon! I'll become the first demon overlord of space''

''Yep. I'm just so happy you're telling me about your plans!'' squealed Flandre. As she finished checking her hair, she stood up and made one final remark. ''But won't these bottle rockets only work against vampires?''

C3 Remilia Scarlet is a Defense-Class Friend who can stand strong against Youkai enemies, bring Fire and Moon breaks, Freeze up her enemies and showcases Rank II Yin ATK and Yin DEF.

As a Tank / Defensive Support

Takes 35% less damage from resisted elements (Sun, Water, Metal).
Skill 2 allows her team to take 0 damage for the turn when attacked by Youkai enemies.
Passive 1 allows herself to take 35% less damage from Youkai enemies.

Since C3 Remilia lacks Yin ATK that can go for more than 1 Turn, we’ll need to stock up on that. Redder Than Blood is an amazing pick for also being able to boost some Fire bullets on top of that, but if that isn’t available, Overwhelming Firepower works perfectly fine too. Next up, let’s give her even more Spirit Power, and what better choice than The Witch of Scarlet Dreams? Maybe Midnight Tea would be good too, due to its additional Yin ATK stick, but both are worth considering. In order to help ensure her rockets connect, we need to give her some Accuracy, and Ability Cards? is just fantastic for this. Not only will 3 stages of Accuracy do the trick, but it also lasts for 3 Turns, allowing you to be flexible with it. Finally, if you just want raw firepower, simply go with cards like Shooting Star Magician, for that sweet boost in Missile Bullets.

It’s designed for C3 Remilia after all so it’s no surprise, but Summer Rocket is above the rest of the competition! With a boost in Missile and Fire bullets by 40% and 25% respectively, it’s going to do our charismatic vampire in question a lot of good. Otherwise, cards like Shooting Star Magician and Blue Goodbyes are fantastic picks when it comes to 50% Missile boosts. Cards like Bonds of Blood and its 50% Fire boost actually work well, and if you need a last resort buff in Yin ATK while providing a little bit of Fire boosting, there is also Redder Than Blood to consider.

Character Skill Level Up Recommendations

Water-Proof Coating will be able to grant C3 Remilia 3 boosts worth of Spirit Power from the get-go, Freeze up her enemies and bring down that cooldown duration a bit. Next is the 2nd Skill, Beach Vampire. In order to completely tank a Youkai’s attacks for that turn, it has to be maxed out. It can also bring some Yin DEF to the team. Last up is Borrowed Sunscreen, giving more Focus, HP restoration and Barrier utility and a lower cooldown duration.

Character Strengths

Cannot be Thwarted

When it comes to what makes a great tank, it goes without saying you’ll want them to easily take what comes their way (and in some cases, hit back twice as hard). C3 Remilia can do great with that, as she provides Barriers for the team, Focus up for herself, Bind Removal for her subordinates, both Yin and Yang DEF support, and even Yin DEF II on Skill 3. On top of that, she grants 100% Youkai resistance, allowing her team to take 0 damage from them for that turn. If for whatever reason you are unable to Graze, and you have to take a Youkai’s attack head on for that turn, this helps deal with that kind of situation. Do be mindful of anomaly and elemental breaks though, as in C3 Remilia’s case, you just need to worry about Star element and Poison anomalies.

Freezing Fate

Having the access to Fire and Moon elements that she does is always great, but the huge abundance in Freeze utility cannot go unnoticed! Skill 3’s way of giving out 4 Freeze anomalies to all enemies, her Second Spell Card giving an extra 3 layers of it, and ways of breaking them all via the same Spell Card and Last Word can all really go a long way when it comes to potentially full breaking your enemies with ease. With instant access to 3P, this is definitely a fun way for C3 Remilia to break the ice!

Strength in Charisma

In a Touhou LostWord first, C3 Remilia pioneers Yin ATK II via her Last Word as well as normal Yin ATK being achieved via Boosting. With additional methods of CRIT DEF reduction onto her enemies, ways to keep her Spirit Power up and on top of it all, her great Hard Scaling conversion including some bullets reaching 200%, her potential in terms of raw damage could go beyond the moon, maybe all the way up to Saturn in fact!

As mentioned above, the CRIT DEF utility can definitely come in handy…provided her Killers land, however. She has a large quantity of them, but unfortunately, she is missing the quality that would make them be able to compete with many other powerful friends. Younger Sister, Servant, Swimsuit, Summer, Sun, Aquatic, and a good chunk of location-themed Killers.

Very Lacking in Offensive Support

Aside from Spirit Power support in a Spell Card, C3 Remilia lacks multiple buffs that could prove useful for the team: Accuracy, CRIT ATK, even to some extent, Yin ATK outside of Boosting, making them not last long naturally. The lack of Accuracy in general hurts C3 Remilia due to not always being destined to connect all her bullets.
