It is not known what limits her ability has, but if her ability is abusable, she could probably cause terror and destruction on an unimaginable scale. There is a cold and static world where only Sakuya can walk. And she can keep walking, on, and on, for eternity.

This Sakuya avoids all beings who are fated to perish eventually. The coffin is the ultimate symbol of this. She will not say this out loud, but she harbors a delusion that every pure and immortal being is an ''angel''... This seems kind of similar to the Lunar Emissaries...

Character Analysis
E1 Sakuya Izayoi was released on June 17th, 2022 in Ultra Festival: Legendary Vampire Hunter.
In a strange twist of fate, Sakuya Izayoi, who is usually known as the maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion and effectively second in command, is hunting the inhabitants of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She especially seeks to destroy the vampire mistresses, Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, who, in other worlds, she is usually sworn to protect. She still employs her time manipulation powers in her Universe E1 form, making her a fearsome enemy, but she also employs a large array of vampire hunting weapons, such as crossbows, knives, poisons, and all kinds of contraptions that Sakuya doesn't normally use. Outside of believing that vampires are the sworn enemies of humans, she's generally amicable, and will help you in battle as an S+ Tier Friend.
For farming, Sakuya absolutely gets the job done with her Last Word, Imperfect Outsider. While her turn 1 damage may not be as strong as some of the more recent characters, her damage potential is great otherwise. Sakuya’s buffs are powerful enough to nearly cap both CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy. However, the amount of Yang ATK that she can grant herself leaves much to be desired. Despite this, Sakuya’s ability to farm difficult stages in story such as Mysterious Sword Master (3-3-3), The Secret God of the Sky (3-6-3), Puppeteer and Necromancer (3-11-1), Secret Sealing Club Girls (Hifuu E9), and Unknown Barrier Team (3-18-3) makes her stand out as an excellent farmer.
Challenging content, on the other hand, is where Sakuya can truly shine. Sakuya’s great P generation allows her to utilize powerful breaks, and powerful nuking potential is heightened by her wide range of killers such as Youkai and Parallel Existence. With her 1st skill, Pseudo Holy Water, she has the ability to provide herself with 2 levels of CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy for 4 turns while also providing the party 0.25 P. With the low cooldown that the skill has, this allows her to maintain a steady source of CRIT buffs and P generation. Her 2nd skill, Lunatic Pocket Watch, helps Sakuya even further by giving her 1.5 P, 2 levels of Accuracy for 3 turns, and provides her Charge. All of these things combine to help Sakuya be more consistent in her output and make her easier to support with teammates. Finally, her 3rd skill, Silver Cross, provides herself with 3 levels of CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy for 1 turn while also giving herself 3 levels of Agility for 3 turns. With her 1st and 3rd skill combining with her ability, Capable of manipulating time (Distorted) which provides the team with CRIT ATK on boosts and CRIT Accuracy on grazes, she can effectively cap out her CRIT buffs and deal a ton of damage thanks to her aforementioned killer range. Her Spell Cards augment this even further with her 1st Spell Card, Conjuring: Mesmerizing Misdirection, providing the team with 2 levels of CRIT Accuracy for 2 turns, and her 2nd Spell Card, Illusion World: The World, providing herself with 2 levels of CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy for 3 turns. These Spell Cards not only provide substantial damage by themselves, but can also further her barrier breaking potential.
Sakuya also excels at breaking barriers. More precisely, with a P0 Sun basic shot, Sakuya specializes in Metal and Sun breaks. While the need to boost to make the best use of her spell breaks may come as a detriment at times, her P generation more than makes up for it as she can easily get the P needed. Sakuya’s spread of 3 Sun and 3 Metal breaks on both her 1st and 2nd Spell Card helps to break her foes quickly. Sakuya’s 1st Spell Card is also notable for its ability to break both Burn and Freeze anomalies. Finally, Her Last Word is no slouch as it has 6 Sun breaks.
Ultimately, Sakuya is a vampire hunter without peer. While her initial burst damage may not seem as strong as the hardest hitting characters, she more than makes up for it in longer fights. With a tiny bit of support to help her go even further, Sakuya can help turn the tides against the Vampires that she pledges to eradicate.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on May 07, 2023)
Spell Card
Due to her insane Spirit Power generation, E1 Sakuya can instead opt for story cards that augment her power in one way. Yang ATK up cards like How Irrational…, Kasen's Senkai, Ordinary Magician, and Members of the Yakumo Family are great options in terms of contributing further to her damage output. Myouren Temple Anniversary is another powerful option due to the Yang DEF debuff that it applies to a specific enemy to boost damage output even further (on top of the teamwide 0.75 Spirit Power it provides). Mysterious Sword Master is another option to use as her Spell Cards can hit hard against enemies who are susceptible to E1 Sakuya's Killers. Finally, you can opt to use Yang ATK stat filler, preferring ones with Agility.
Last Word
As is tradition for all Sakuya variants, the Vampire Hunter’s Last Word is yet again, Slash. 3 Words come to mind: Mysterious Sword Master. However, there are many other choices you can take advantage of here, such as the designated card, Cleaning, the Sun-focused Mega Flare with a dose of Agility UP, Myouren Temple Anniversary with -2 Yang DEF DOWN on a target, or The Moon and Izayoi, which competes with the aforementioned Mysterious Sword Master, both having 50% Slash, but missing the +2 Accuracy that card has, while instead having favorable Yang ATK and Agility Stats. Finally, a Yang ATK UP card is also fine to use, making up for E1 Sakuya’s lacking Yang ATK, such as How Irrational…, meaning there is quite the group of great options for this Last Word.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Sakuya’s 2nd skill, Lunatic Pocket Watch, should be leveled up first as the Accuracy and P generation helps Sakuya’s consistency and helps her use her powerful access to barrier breaks. Afterwards, Sakuya’s 3rd skill, Silver Cross, is a powerful tool to level as it provides herself with a large amount of self buffs that can help her do more damage. Finally, Sakuya’s 1st skill, Pseudo Holy Water, provides weaker buffs than her 3rd skill but has a longer duration. Thus, it should be leveled last.
Character Strengths
Amazing Power Generation
E1 Sakuya will never be short on Spirit P, with her Spell Cards generating more of it with every use, while her skill keeps her fueled from the get go
A good spread of elements on her Spell Cards with Sun and Metal
These two go hand in hand as E1 Sakuya can use the power generation that she has with her skills and Spell Cards to break multiple barriers that her enemies would have. E1 Sakuya’s 3/3 spread of Sun and Metal on both her 1st and 2nd Spell Card break multiple enemies with ease.
Last Word has great Damage Setup
Her Last Word, while not necessarily capable of insane damage on the 1st turn, can deal some great damage with setup. With a high peak due to her Last Word’s back-loaded scaling of 1-1-3, Sakuya can make use of Yang ATK buffs to pump up her damage, as her Last Word only provides her with 2 levels of Yang ATK. However, thanks to her skills and pre-effects on her Spell Cards and Last Word, CRIT buffs are easily capped.
Character Weaknesses
Selfish Character With Little Utility
Ultimately, what holds E1 Sakuya back would be her lack of utility outside of CRIT buffs. While the CRIT buffs that she provides can be really powerful in the right hands, these buffs may not impact the field as much as other buffs due to who can possibly take advantage of these buffs. On top of that, her limited anomaly utility (aside from slight Burn breaking on some attacks) doesn’t help in this regard.
