Character Analysis
Tenshi Hinanawi was released on January 1st, 2022 in Festival: Earth-Shattering Celestial.
Tenshi Hinanawi, Girl of the Sphere of Neither Perception nor Non-Perception, was once known as Chiko, or literally “Earth Child.” Rewarded for their service to Heaven, she and her family ascended as celestials, resulting in her taking on her new moniker of Tenshi (“Sky/Heaven Child”). A sheltered child, Tenshi grew bored of constant paradise, and came down to the earth during the events of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody to cause a ruckus. While she’s a bit of a brat, she’s certainly nice to her friends (such as Shion Yorigami), and is more than willing to help you out. So long as you keep her amused, at least.
For farming purposes, the celestial comes armed with an All targeting Last Word that brings not only tremendous turn 1 damage, but can also scale even further if Tenshi is given a turn to set up, allowing the heavenly celestial to brute force her way past most obstacles.
Solo Stage Farms: 2-7-1, 3-3-3, Future Story Card Stages
For harder fights, Tenshi is a selfish damage dealer who justifies her slot on a team by having an earth-shattering output. Thanks to her Last Word, Trillion Ton Keystone Drop, having a 2-2-1 layout and 110%/110%/110%/0%/0%/0% Hard scaling, the celestial can deliver the harm and fast. If even more damage is needed, since she only has a bit of Yang ATK UP in her kit, additional levels of Yang ATK UP will boost her damage even further. Do keep in mind though damage is all you’re bringing her for - she has P0 Earth on her Focus Shot, and a somewhat above average 1/2/3 Solo targeting Earth Breaks for 0/1/2 Spirit Power on her first Spell Card, but beyond that her Breaks aren’t great. At first glance, Sky of Scarlet Perception of All Humankind’s 1 Fire, 1 Water, 1 Wood, 1 Metal, and 1 Earth Break would seem fantastic, but it's only 1 to 2 Breaks on any given enemy most of the time for 3 Spirit Power which is not great, but serviceable.
Overall, so long as you understand Tenshi’s here to drop enormous keystones on your foes as an entirely selfish damage dealer, she’ll help you out just fine. Remember, she’s enough of a brat she’s even gotten (temporarily) exiled from Heaven - you can’t really expect her to be a team player!
Story Card Recommendations
Spell Card
As Tenshi already has plenty of Yang DEF, alongside a Spell Card which can boost it further if need be, story cards which grant Yang ATK UP are her best bet. If you need additional Earth Breaks, or if using her in a multi-wave format such as Arena, Spirit Power UP can be useful to juice up her Spell Cards. Lastly, for stat fillers, look to Yang DEF and Yang ATK, favoring Yang DEF.
Last Word
Due to the Heavy and Earth power UP it provides, Dropping Keystones can’t be beat - with that said, Heavy power UP is also a great option, especially The Secret God Of The Sky, which has a 50% Heavy power UP. Earth power UP and Yang ATK UP are her other options.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Immortal Fruit provides the highest damage output increase between the Yang DEF and Spirit Power UP and should be levelled first. Afterwards, Keystone Technique also provides a solid damage increase. Finally, Sword of Hisou isn’t quite as useful and can be levelled last, due to the Accuracy already on Tenshi’s Last Word - it is, however, still useful for content in which she’ll be using her other attacks, but due to the relatively minor gains it can wait if other units need training first.
Character Strengths
+Incredible damage output, including an All-targeting Last Word great for farming events
+P0 Earth on her Focus Shot
Character Weaknesses
-Selfish attacker, brings no utility
-Breaks are otherwise middling
