Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

Quick Overview

+ Very high damage for both hard levels and farming
+ Solid Moon breaks
+ Great team-wise speed buffs
+Spell Card 1 breaks every anomaly at P2

-Doesn’t scale nearly as well as other top tier units for longer fights
-Damage isn’t as high due to being reliant on an unreleased Story Card

Reisen Udongein Inaba (Eternal)

Reisen Udongein inaba (Eternal) comes from Touhou 8: Imperishable Night. In the game she appears to us along with Kaguya and Eirin who, including herself, are responsible for the disappearance of the moon and overall tragedy. This version of Reisen comes at a time in the middle of this incident, where we see her full power in the actual game when she fights against Reimu Hakurei, eventually losing.

Eternal Reisen’s kit in Touhou LostWord all revolves around her ability to gain agility, accuracy, and evasion for every level of Paralysis or Blind applied to herself.

For example, all of her skills involve buffing her damage in different ways. Her first skill, Physical Waves, applies 2 layers of Electrified and 2 levels of Yin ATK to herself. Her second, Emotional Waves, applies 2 layers of Darkness and 3 levels of Yin ATK similarly to her first skill. Lastly, her skill, Intellectual Waves, increases her own P by 1 as well as increases all allies speed and dodge by 2.8. This all coincides well with her ability, since most of it is being converted into flat damage with her ability. In addition, her second spell card, Lunar Eyes: Moon Rabbit's Remote Mesmerism (Tele-Mesmerism), buffs all allies overall speed by 3.

This alone is self-explanatory of how much damage Eternal Reisen can give herself in such a short amount of time. It may be also worth noting that the Slicing on her Last Word is as follows: 100%/120%/140%/0%/0%/0%, only adding to her potential damage even more. Other than that, Eternal Reisen’s kit remains rather simple albeit extremely powerful.

It is also worth noting that Reisen primarily focuses on Moon breaking, and already scarce category for breaking in general. While she has no P0 shots she does have a wide array of breaks ranging from Moon, Metal, Fire, Water, and Sun. This makes her a solid breaker that is sure to see some use in harder challenges such as the Scarlet Devil Tower making this festival unit a no-brainer to pull on if you have the means to.

Introduction

Quick Overview

+Great utility from both team buffs and enemy debuffs to evasion, accuracy, and yang defense.
+Her self quick means the debuffs will be applied to the enemies before your other friends get their shots in - perfect for taking down extra stubborn enemies.
+P0 Wood shot and a host of other elements for breaking
+Good turn 1 damage

-Good farmer, but not as good at farming Story Cards as a result of her kit
-Reliant on anti bullets to deal sufficient damage

Aya Shameimaru (Flower)

Aya Shameimaru (Flower) comes from Touhou Kaeidzuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View, the 9th installment of the Touhou Project franchise, or PoFV for short. In PoFV she plays a role expected of her character. Aya seemingly ignores the actual incident taking place and instead, focuses on recording the incident and its characters to make it into a good story which ends up getting her in some trouble somewhere along the way.

In-game she plays the role of a support/breaker. To start with her supportive abilities she excels in buffing team-wide accuracy and debuffing enemy dodge chances. That’s not all, however, as she debuffs accuracy, Yang DEF, and can apply up to 2 layers of Darkness.

As a breaker, she is extremely potent. She has 8 Wood breaks overall with 1 of them being on her P0 shot. In addition, she possesses 3 Sun breaks, 3 Water breaks, 4 Star breaks, and 4 Metal breaks. This makes her a very strong choice for longer fights that could use the breaking potential.

In general Flower Aya is a very good choice should you choose to pull. Similar to her banner-mate, Eternal Reisen, she is easily a high-tier unit but for different reasons. It may also be worth taking into account that she is a festival unit, so there is a lot less investment required to make her shine. Regardless, should you have the means, pulling here is an excellent decision.
