Story 1
When you think of a witch from a fairy tale, they always have pointy hats. The ordinary magician Marisa often wears one too.
Story 2
This hat has the mysterious ability to make its wearer feel like they have become a witch. They can even use magic! ...Or at least, they feel like they could.

If you want to use magic, you will have to put in the effort. For a regular human, using magic means a lot of prep work.

Gensokyo has many magicians. One uses dolls, another studies books, while yet another destroys everything she sees. There is even one who likes to chant sutras. The common thread shared between all of them is their love of pointy hats.
