Doppel Detail (May Contain Spoiler)
The master of this emotion uses powerful electrical signals to burn the ill will from its target's body, incinerating its personality along with everything else. Though they are horrified by this Doppel's power, they are also tempted to believe that murder such as this is the only way to put an end to all human ill will. This Doppel also has power over both life and death, and, when it appears, the master's body and soul split apart temporarily, leaving her soul meandering in the space between life and death.

PvE Stories Pros and Cons
High Attack
Ren's high attack and Dark type means she can take down any enemy without a disadvantage.
Strengthened Magia at Low HP
Even though she's not very sturdy, her fragility can be an asset - her Magia deals more damage when she's at low health. By the time you pump up her MP gauge to full, she'll no doubt be close to death and ready to unleash a devastating blow!
Poor Sustainability
If you can't utilize her Magia, Ren's fragility can easily be a huge disadvantage. A few solid hits can kill her easily if not careful, so make sure she kills all the enemies before they can get her!
PvP Mirrors Pros and Cons
High Attack
Ren has a high attack, and since she's Dark won't have to deal with elemental imbalances. With memoriae to increase her damage output, she can tear apart the opposing team with relative ease.
If fighting a Ren, you should try to take her out relatively quickly. Ren does heavy damage and can cripple your team, but if you can land a few solid hits on her she'll fold easily.
Follow Up Attack on Connect
Guaranteed Follow Up on a connect is a trait unique to Ren which allows her and an ally to decimate a team with a flurry of attacks. By making a Puella combo with Ren, and connecting to an ally with the first disc, it is possible to preform up to five attacks in one turn.
Difficult to Keep Alive
If Ren can't chew through the other team fast enough, she's often too squishy to last long. If you pair her with a tank like Kirika, the tank may draw enough fire to keep Ren alive long enough to finish wiping them out.
Memoria Recommendations
Ren is special - she has two personal memoriae! One of them, The First and Last Page, has a particularly interesting effect - its Guardian will trigger 100% of the time if the targeted girl is Rika. A duo of Rika and Ren, with Ren holding this memoria and Rika with her personal memoria(which will replace all disks with hers) makes an interesting Magia-based team. Rika's 3 accele disks and her memoria to help enable accele combos will charge both their MP gauges, and since Ren will be taking the hits for your team she'll be able to deal heavy damage when her Magia is used!

Magical Girl Background (May Contain Spoiler)
A timid magical girl who struggles to find her voice at times.
From a young age, Ren was bullied constantly because she could never speak up for herself. When the teasing and isolation became too much for her to bear, she made the decision to end her life. However, immediately after she jumped from a rooftop, Ren was struck with the fear of dying and made a wish to live at the last moment. Kyubey granted her wish, and explained to Ren that the bullying she suffered was an indirect result of a witch spreading curses. Ren then vowed to fight witches as a magical girl and make the world a kinder place.
Once again, Ren finds herself standing on a rooftop preparing to jump. No matter how many witches she defeated, malice did not disappear from the world which made Ren give up hope. Kyubey informs her that jumping from the roof would crush her soul gem, and Ren acknowledges that. She is saved at the last moment by Riko Ayano who had finished fighting a witch nearby.
Ren cannot explain to Rika why she wanted to commit suicide, so Rika decides introduce Ren to her magical girl friends. They meet with Akira Shinobu and Emiri Kisaki at Emiri's Consultation Office, and Ren struggles to introduce herself. They also meet Ria Ami, Konomi Haruna, Hinano Miyako, and Kanoko Yayoi, and from them Ren receives hand cream, tea, candy, and a metal accessory as tokens of good faith.
When the rest of the group dissolves, Ren listens to Rika's story about the wish she made and, and how she selfishly manipulated her crush into loving her. Regardless, Ren accepts Rika and insists she is a good person. Ren wants to tell Rika about her own wish, but cries when she cannot bring herself to talk about it.
Rika explains that the gifts Ren received are proof that there is still good in the world. Ren is finally able to affirm her will to continue living.

Doppel Background
Doppel Background (May Contain Spoiler)
Renata is the feminine version of Renatus, which means "Born Again", primarily in the spiritual sense.
Among other things, an ECG can be used to measure the rate and rhythm of heartbeats. When Ren's doppel is unleashed, the electrocardiogram's monitor shows a flatline until she is shocked back to life and her heart starts up again, reinforcing the literal meaning of her name.
The word electrocardiogram is derived from the Greek electro, meaning related to electrical activity; kardia, meaning heart; and graph, meaning "to write". Ren's doppel is the doppel of electronic transmission, her heart was revived by Rika, and Ren loves to write in her diary.
The ECG monitor has antennae like a television set and are used to transmit electricity as an attack on an enemy. Television sets could be linked to the movie Poltergeist, where a ghost was using a television set as a portal to the afterlife. It also has the power to burn away evil intent, which reflects Ren's desire to rid the world of evil.
As a magical girl, Ren has both angelic elements and death elements. These reoccurring images of life and death are also reflected in the form of the doppel Renata, as it has power over life and death. Her transformation video shows her with an angel's wings and her five star art also features a halo. Her doppel's form has an upside down ribcage with red veins sprouting from the bottom. Because Ren has angelic themes in her transformation, and the doppel's ribcage points downwards, this could imply that it is a "fallen angel", as the red veins are shaped like wings and sprout from where her wings would be.
When her doppel is unleashed, her ECG initially flat lines, implying her death. Her spirit soars upwards towards heaven, then is 'struck down' by lightening. Her robed costume and scythe both invoke imagery of a shinigami, also known as a Death god. Renata has a shroud at the top, which are commonly used to cover the bodies of the deceased in various cultures.
