On November 6, 2019, Netmarble announced a brand new partnership with card game developers Wizards of the Coast. The project they will be releasing together is titled Magic: ManaStrike and while it does have synchronous competitive combat, it is NOT Magic: The Gathering, the decades-old trading card game created by Richard Garfield.
Gameplay that has been shown so far seems to show-off a game that looks similar to Clash Royale or auto-battlers, a tower-defense style game wherein you place characters on a battlefield to march into your opponents base and defeat them.
The game will feature a robust tutorial and will grant players a pre-made deck based on the five colors featured in Magic: The Gathering, White, Blue, Black, Red, or Green. Combat will be against opponents in real-time featuring collectible cards that can be enhanced.
