- Monster Super League partners with Sonic The Hedgehog
- Collect 610 different Astromon in your quest to keep chaos in check
- Pre-registration for Sonic event opens June 20th
There’s Pokémon. There’s Digimon. And there’s Astromon. But this July, will we see Sonic-mon?
Monster Super League has been around as a mobile game for a while, but they’re partnering up with Sonic the Hedgehog for a unique take on a familiar design. Monster Super League is all about capturing Astromon, creatures that do battle for you in an arena setting as you advance for the forces of good (offsetting the forces of evil) to keep balance and prevent the world from being destroyed. If you’re unfamiliar with the title, check out the trailer below:
A familiar feeling game to the other franchises mentioned above, MSL has recently surpassed 10 million global downloads (so it must be doing something right) and this July we’ll see some other familiar faces hit the screen. That’s right, we’re talking:
It’s unclear right off if these characters will simply be NPC’s that spur MSL players on to further battles and quest lines, or if they will be actual Astromon that can be captured and used in battle, but what we do know is you can pre-register for the event to get exclusive rewards prior to the update dropping.
Pre-registration opens up on June 20th (a week and a day from today) and you can head to the official Facebook page to get more details on the update dropping in July and go through the pre-registration process.
