TL;DR: Should You Pull?

Sync Pair Analysis

Overview

Caitlin & Reuniclus are the most recent addition to the Pokémon Masters universe. Caitlin & Reuniclus comes with great strength, making them one of the strongest Psychic-Type Special Striker Sync Pairs, but outside of that, they are very bland, a well balanced Sync Pair that comes with no real advantages or disadvantages.

Strengths

Self Move Gauge recovery

Caitlin’s Support move “Move Gauge Boost” restores Reuniclus’ Move Gauge by 3, allowing it to maintain a steady barrage of Psychic. However, one should note that Move Gauge Boost can only be used twice, and players cannot chain it before Psychic.

Self Boost

Caitlin’s “Don’t Bore Me!” can be viewed as a slightly better X Sp. Atk, since it also boosts Reuniclus’ Special Defense by 1 stage per use.

Small chance of damage Increase over time

“Psychic” has the additional effect of having a small chance of reducing enemy’s Special Defense on hit, as this is the strongest move Reuniclus can use, the damage ratio will only increase as the enemies lose their Special Defense. The Power Move of “Psychic” is 99 and can be increased up to 118 by pulling duplicates.

Weaknesses

No Real Weaknesses

Caitlin & Reuniclus doesn’t really have any outstanding weaknesses. They are very balanced, although they are not the strongest sync pair. They currently only possess one simple job and that is being the best Psychic Striker upon their release.

Conclusion

No, one should not try to pull Caitlin & Reuniclus. You should try to save for something else. I’ll admit Caitlin can be cute, so she is definitely worth it for Waifu-reasons, and if you do by chance get Caitlin, do not be afraid, she is still currently the best Psychic Striker out there.
