Introduction

Explorers! The weekly events have been announced and once again we've got your coverage. This week the featured creatures are South America theme and the strike events are Europe. Especially exciting this week is we are getting Irritator to dart! And since there are so many rare creatures to choose from, we get 30 attempts at it! There are plenty of other exciting creatures this week and we'll break down what to dart and what to expect from the strike events. So let's get to it!

Featured Creatures - Common

Monday -  Tuesday: Commons (18 attempts)

Irritator Gen 2 - Global Anytime

Phorusrhacos- Incubator Exclusive

What to Dart

Irri Gen2 is usually a pest in scents and on the map so it isn't hard to find if you are needing the DNA. Phorusrhacos is exclusive and has an incredibly strong hybrid. Since you can't hunt for it, you should stock up on the DNA while you can.

Featured Creatures - Rare

Wednesday - Friday: Rares (30 attempts)

Amargasaurus - Global Day/Dawn/Dusk

Argentinosaurus - Local 3 Day/Dawn/Dusk

Carnotaurus - Local 4 Anytime

Irritator - Incubator Exclusive

Tupandactylus - Daily Monday

What to Dart

This one might actually be harder than it seems for some people. The good thing is we get 30 attempts so you might be able to split up your attempts if you need to. The clear winner for the rares is Irritator. It is an exclusive dino that is a component of the incredibly strong Tyrant Dino, Magnapyritor. A case might also be made for Argentinosaurus if you aren't able to frequent L3 very often. It is a component of an equally strong (if not stronger) Tyrant Dino, Ardentismaxima. I think most of us will be going for the elusive Irritator DNA so don't be surprised to see more Dimetrodon requests in your alliances.

Featured Creatures - Epic

Saturday - Sunday: Epics (6 attempts)

Gryposuchus - Local 4 Day/Dawn/Dusk

Smilodon - Daily Monday

What to Dart

Either of these epic creatures is a good choice depending on the hybrid you are currently working on. Gryposuchus is needed for Grypolyth, which is very strong in the current meta. It's a local dino so you can technically scent for it, even though residents of L4 have said it can be quite elusive. Smilodon is a daily dino so you can't scent for it. It's also a component of Smilonemys and since we are getting turtle as the daily dino next month, this would be a great option to complete the hybrid.

Strike Events

The theme in the strike events is Europe. This is what you can expect to see in those incubators:

Common: Dimorphodon, Hatzegopteryx, Iguanodon, Miragaia
Rare: Elasmotherium, Megalosaurus, Proceratosaurus
Epic: Baryonyx, Concavenator, Pyroraptor

There are 2 epic strike events this week. There is an Alanqa themed strike on Friday, and 3 a Europe themed strike on Sunday. We will keep you up to date with strike guides as those come out and we know the adversaries you will be facing!

Themed Scent & Boost Strike

There is a themed scent strike on Tuesday that is a Stegosauride scent, and it looks like there is an Attack Boost Strike on Wednesday. We are back to the normal treasure chases on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday so make sure you get out there and get that coin. All in all, it looks like a lot to look forward to this week!

In Conclusion

This is a pretty exciting week! We were dissappointed that irritator wasn't featured last week but we are going to get 30 attempts on it this week, which is even better! We will make sure to keep you updated on any other events or changes that we see and make sure to join our discussion on our discord!
