Pokemon Masters App v1.4.0 Update Report - 11/29/2019

This past week, Pokemon Masters has rolled out a series of changes and new sync pairs to the game. Here we'll be listing the changes and pairs to come this month.

New Trainers and Sync Pairs

Including the addition of Seasonal Characters, the game will also feature it's first Legendary Event! Team up with other players and play alongside the campaign to earn rewards and unlock Giovanni & Mewtwo.

New Expanded Level Caps

New, expanded level caps now unlockable!

Maximum level caps have been expanded, so now you can level up your sync pairs even further!
The new maximum level per number of ★s is as follows.

New Maximum Levels

  • 5★ Lv. 120
  • 4★ Lv. 115
  • 3★ Lv. 110

Rewards for completing courses and supercourses have also been rebalanced to make obtaining rewards easier.

Additions & Changes Date/Time

After 1.4.0 update

Area info for obtaining the items required to unlock the new level caps will also be added to each course.

Exchange Items Menu Reset and Renewal

The Exchange Items menu lineup will be renewed on the date below!
New items will be added and the number of items required to exchange some items will be re-evaluated.
In addition, the monthly item exchange limit will be reset.
Look for the new updated menu coming soon!

  • Elite Four Notes
  • Buff Blend +
  • Tech Tonic +
  • Aid Ade +

Note: For more details about the item lineup, visit the Exchange Items menu in the shop after the renewal.

Item Quantities to Be Adjusted

Note: The number of required items will be reduced, making it easier to make the exchange.

Some changes have been made to which sync pairs greet you at the Pokémon Center during specific times of the day, to properly suit the content of their greetings.

Note: Changes will be reflected after updating the app to version 1.4.0 or higher.
The exact time the update becomes available may differ for each player.

Some area info in the Special Training: Battle Techniques category will no longer be obtainable following the update scheduled for late December 2019.
The following area info and any first-time reward gems associated with it will no longer be obtainable following the update. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding on this matter.

  • Reach Past Your Limits!
    Note: Currently unlocks after completing chapter 4 of the main story.
  • Switch-In Moves!
    Note: Currently unlocks after completing any Hard difficulty co-op area info.
  • Get Stronger with Gear!
    Note: Currently unlocks after completing Challenge Cheren & Hilbert &  Hilda (co-op) on Hard difficulty.

In this update, we will also be renewing supercourse area info.
Players who have not yet completed the current supercourses listed below will no longer be able to obtain their first-time reward gems.
Note: After the update occurs, new first-time rewards will be available for all updated supercourses.
