Overview
Saonel & Pirina lead the Namekians and are quite impressive for a F2P Card. This Card is built to run alongside Universe 6 or Namekian allies thanks to their Passive Skill. Saonel & Pirina have the potential to hit hard and tank a few hits but need a lot of Team support.
Unfortunately, this Card’s Ki Links and lack of ATK Links are concerning in certain situations. Despite their flaws, Saonel & Pirina are a decent free Card everyone should farm.
Strengths
Thanks to fusing with the remaining Namekians of Universe 6, Saonel & Pirina can hit pretty hard and take some hits remarkably well for a F2P Card. Players should take advantage of this Card’s 15% ATK & DEF self-Buff for each Universe 6 ally on a Team.
On top of their Passive Skill Buffs, Saonel & Pirina also provide a 1 turn 20% ATK Buff to allies when they launch their Super ATK.
Saonel & Pirina are the F2P Namekian leader, providing players the opportunity to run a somewhat F2P Namekian Team. While the Namekians certainly need improvement, this Card becomes stronger with Namekian allies thanks to their Passive Skill providing +1 KI and a 30% ATK & DEF Buff per Namekian ally.
Weaknesses
Despite having an impressive self-Buff for having Namekian allies, this Card will not synergize terrifically with most Namekian Cards with their Ki Links “Tournament of Power” and “Warriors of Universe 6”. What this Card does offer Namekians are the DEF Links “Cold Judgement”, “Hero”, and the HP Link “Namekians.” However, aside from “Namekians”, “Hero”, and “Cold Judgement”, few Namekian Cards that share the link.
While Saonel & Pirina will be fine in terms of Ki or their own stats, but they are pretty selfish in not offering Namekian allies much.
While this Card boasts impressive Passive Skill Buffs, Saonel & Pirina are heavily DEF centric due to their lack of ATK Links. The Passive Skill Buffs are great for this Card, but this means Saonel & Pirina need Universe 6 or Namekian allies or else their performance will be underwhelming.
Synergy
Although this Card belongs to four categories, Saonel & Pirina will only function properly on three of them. Saonel & Pirina are blown out of the water in Joined Forces and will be a waste of space on that Team. They can perform in Universe Survival Saga Team’s thanks to their Ki Link “Tournament of Power” and the various Universe 6 allies in the category.
However, players are better running Saonel & Pirina on a Universe 6 Team to maximize their Universe 6 Buff. Saonel & Pirina can also work incredibly well on Namekian Teams, but their Links do not have the best synergy with most Namekian Cards. Luckily, they can make up for it with a hefty self-Buff. At the end of the day, this Card is free so expect a few restraints.
