New Special Research
On December 13, 2019, Niantic began to deploy to some accounts a short Special Research task!
This 1-step task only asks players to catch 19 Pokemon. There are 3 overlapping tasks that grant 2019 XP each.
The final reward for completing this task is 20 Ultra Ball, 1 Unova Stone, and 9 Rare Candy.
The player who discovered this Special Research is reportedly in the Europe region.
There has only been one report of this task being found by a player, so it is slightly unsubstantiated. Stay tuned for further details on what other tasks might be arriving for the end of the year celebration 2019.
