Overview
SSJ2 Caulifla & SSJ2 Kale have set the bar high by chucking it into the stratosphere. This Card has an abundance of ATK Buffs, stacks DEF, builds Ki, can dodge, and synergizes considerably well with all of its Categories. It excels against long events, and especially at facing Saiyan and Universe Survival Saga opponents.
The biggest drawback to this Card is making sure you have enough stones to pull it and maybe rainbow it.
Strengths
Powerful ATK Buffs
Kale & Caulifla’s ATK stats are phenomenal, but when paired with a 66% ATK & DEF Buffing Passive Skill Buff that also Buffs 10% ATK per Universe 6, Joined Forces, or Pure Saiyans Category ally, this Card is consistently hitting in the millions.
For clarification, the 10% ATK Buff this Card gets for category allies is monstrous because if one ally is part of Universe 6, Joined Forces, and Pure Saiyans, that means Kale & Caulifla are getting a 30% ATK Buff from one ally.
On top of already powerful Buffs, this Card has the two amazing ATK Links. “Super Saiyan” and “Fierce Battle”. This means that in most Teams players will have an additional 25% ATK Buff. Once all multipliers are taken into account, Kale and Caulifla will steamroll anything in their path.
Toughest Force in the Cosmos
On top of hitting like a freight train, Kale & Caulifla stack DEF with both of their Super Attacks and will launch an additional Super ATK whenever they fight a Universe Survival Saga or Pure Saiyans Enemy.
Similar to the Passive Skill category ATK Buff, if an enemy that this Card faces is both part of Universe Survival Saga and Pure Saiyans, Kale and Caulifla will launch two additional Super ATKs. While this Card will have an easy time stacking DEF, Kale and Caulifla might end up finishing the fight before they stack a lot of DEF.
Akatsuki Sure Loves Universe 6
The Kale & Caulifla hype train has no brakes as their Passive Skill also provides up to +6 Ki and a 66% chance to evade Enemy ATKs, with every ATK that Kale and Caulifla perform.
Not only does these Buffs guarantee Kale and Caulifla will not struggle to launch their 12 Ki Super ATK, but this evasion pushes this Card’s ability to tank even further beyond. Oh, also this Card leads the Joined Forces category.
Weaknesses
Strong Base DEF
Some may point out that without full Potential Orb investment, Kale & Caulifla’s DEF stat is concerning because it caps at 9763. However at 55% Potential Orb investment, their DEF jumps to 11763. This coupled with their DEF stacking Skills makes this more of a petty nitpick than a notable critique.
Team Player
This Card has only 3 ATK Link Skills, but two of them are fantastic already. The lack of DEF Links are also not a problem, which leaves this Card with 4 Ki Links.
One could argue that outside of certain category Teams, the Ki Links “Battlefield Diva”, “Warriors of Universe 6”, and “Tournament of Power” might be difficult to activate, leaving the Universe 6 Saiyans with only “Prepared for Battle”.
Luckily, “Prepared for Battle” is common enough that it won’t be an issue to activate, and Kale & Caulifla build Ki with their Passive Skill and have categories with numerous support Cards.
Synergy
This Is To Go Further Beyond Broken
Honestly, players should have these two on any if its category Teams, because it will excel in all of them.
This Card consistently tanks, dodges, stacks DEF, and deals ridiculous amounts of Damage, so they are perfect for nearly every Event. With Kale & Caulifla’s Ki build-up, they are not heavily reliant on having support, but a support Card would push this Card’s performance to even grander heights.
