Winter Weekend Event 2019 Includes Last Resort Glaceon and Regice Raids

New Event Incoming: Winter Weekend 2019

On December 28, 2019, Pokemon GO will host an 8-hour event called the Winter Event 2019!

During 11 AM to 7 PM in your local time zone, players will have access to 2-hour-long Glacial Lures, which will spawn Ice-type Pokemon including Cryogonal, Lapras, and more. 

Players who use the Glacial Lures to evolve an Eevee into a Glaceon will also find that they will learn the Community Day exclusive move Last Resort. 

In addition, raids will feature the Iceberg Pokemon Regice and two free Raid Passes will be given out to players. Player accounts can only hold one free Raid Pass at a time, so be sure to redeem them during the event hours!

You can look forward to a special eight-hour-long winter weekend event!

Date + Time

Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your local time zone

Features

  • Glacial Lure Modules will last for two hours. Pokemon such as Lapras, Delibird, Cubchoo, and more will be drawn to Glacial Lure Modules during this time!
  • Use a Glacial Lure Module to evolve Eevee during the event, and you'll get a Glaceon that knows the Charged Attack Last Resort.
  • Did you miss out on catching a Regice the last time it was available in raids? This is your chance to catch the Iceberg Pokemon!
  • Receive up to two additional Raid Passes during the special event time periodwhen you spin a Photo Disc at a Gym. These Raid Passes will not be available after the event period is over. You cannot hold more than one Raid Pass at once.
