Operator Overview
“I'm Cliffheart, the one who dreams to touch the sky! That's right, I'm really talented.”
Despite being Infected with Oripathy, Cliffheart retains a cheerful demeanor and wants nothing more than to bring the SilverAsh family closer together. She is a 5★ Pull Specialist who can Shift enemies by Pulling them with her climbing tools. Although she is a physical melee damage dealer, she can be deployed on Ranged Grids as well.
The primary reason for using Shift Operators is their ability to forcibly move enemies into holes or pits in the ground, instantly killing them. Cliffheart’s first Skill, Chain Hook, gets the job done by pulling the target towards her and adding extra Arts damage. Her second skill, Binding Chains, provides a jump in utility, as it enables her to pull multiple targets and does DEF- and RES-ignoring damage while stunning for a short time. This makes Cliffheart one of the few Operators with DEF/ RES-ignoring damage. The drawback with Skill 2 is that it has a much longer cooldown than Skill 1, so which is better to use depends on the frequency and group size of enemy spawns.
The only real drawback of Cliffheart is that her higher rarity and damage potential doesn’t make her better at the core job of Pulling, meaning lower-rarity Operators can satisfy the core requirements (albeit while offering less utility) at cheaper Deployment and investment costs. That being said, Cliffheart is obtained for free via the starter rewards, and she has a very fluffy tail and a cool hat, meaning many players will love having Cliffheart as their team’s main Puller.

Gets the pulling job done and S2 provides some unique range and utility. Rope does the job just as well, though, and is cheaper to develop.

Pullers are in an awkward spot, and Cliffheart is no exception. However, her S2M3 is shockingly powerful outside of the typical puller niche. A 3 second stun on a 15 second cooldown is already good, then she gains very rare True Damage on top of it. The skill even maintains its value in a post-Gladiia world. She's a tough unit to use effectively though and Advanced players will find quite a bit more value here than Story players will. Finally, while Shifters typically struggle in the Roguelike mode, Cliffheart has quite a bit of usage in IS#3. Her short cooldown stun on big range helps to mitigate one of the more dangerous threats. It makes her one of the best non-Texas Specialist picks there, even at high difficulties.

Increase Trust to 50.Cliffheart is a natural explorer and climber. Her reflexes and endurance far exceed what normal people could think possible. With even the simplest of items, Cliffheart is capable of traversing obstacles that would stop most people in their tracks. Cliffheart is more comfortable using her climbing instruments than a traditional melee weapon. Even on the battlefield, she uses these tools as weapons. Don't question the power of her snow spade or ice pick - in the hands of the right person, even instruments such as these can be lethal.

Increase Trust to 100.While attempting to climb the holy mountain, Cliffheart was pierced by an Originium stone during an unexpected landslide and thus became Infected. Fortunately, most of the people of Kjerag hold no prejudice against the Infected, and Cliffheart still managed to lead a normal life. Still, in order to make the Originium crystals on her body not appear so conspicuous, she takes clever steps to hide it. Thus, even outside Kjerag, she is free to move as she pleases.

Increase Trust to 200.Whatever peace the Silverash Family had came to an end when Pramanix was anointed saint. SilverAsh could no longer interacted with Cliffheart in the open, and Pramanix couldn't communicate with either of them because of her newfound official position. This made Cliffheart furious, but she understood that there was no way for the three of them to be as they once were. There was nothing she could do to fix the situation, and this feeling of helplessness made her disheartened for the first time in her life. Still, if there were anything she could do to reunite with her brother and sister, she gladly do what it takes.
