Magallan Banner Information

The “Frozen Land” Banner released alongside the “Operational Intelligence” event features the following Operators:

  • 6★ Operator Magallan on rateup. This means there is a 2% chance of pulling a 6★ Operator and, if a 6★ is pulled, there is a 50% chance it will be Magallan and 50% chance of being a different 6★ Operator.
  • 5★ Operators on rateup are new Operator Executor and existing Operator Silence.
  • 4★ Operators on rateup are new Operator Vermeil.

Should You Pull?

Yes, but you should be aware of what you’re pulling. Magallan and Executor are extremely strong Operators, but they are also very unique. Don’t pull because you’re thinking “I need a 6★ unit” or “I need a high-rarity Sniper,” because Magallan and Executor don’t fit into common Operator strategies. Pull because you want these units specifically.

Even if you’re not interested in this banner, remember to do Headhunt x1 until you pull a 5★ or higher Operator, since one is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls.

Quick Overview

Crowd-Control Summon Supporter

+ Incredibly versatile

+ Brings a whole army along with her

- Skill usage can be hard to time correctly

- Guzzles DP

Close-Range AoE Anti-Armor Sniper

+ Ignores a flat amount of DEF from his targets (very powerful)

+ Obliterates groups of enemies

+ One of the few Snipers who can handle armored targets

- Short range

- Finicky positioning to maximize effectiveness

ST Medic

+ Efficient at her job of healing single targets

+ Can heal groups of allies using her Medical Drone

+ Can place her Medical Drone anywhere on the map to heal allies outside her range

- Medical Drone doesn’t last long enough to replace an AoE healer

- You may have used your starter voucher to get her already

Anti-Air Sniper

+ Can attack multiple targets while her Skill 2 is active

+ Charges her Skills quickly with her Talent

+ Faster ASPD and cheaper DP cost than a true AoE Sniper

- Talent doesn’t stack with similar SP-regen effects

- Doesn’t have a true AoE Sniper’s attack range

Magallan

Magallan's E2 art

If you need Arts damage, Slow debuffs, AoE damage, and/or a horde of little flying drones to do your bidding, Magallan has got you covered. With proper deployment of her drones and timely use of her Skills, Magallan can outright solo several maps in Arknights.

Executor

Executor's E2 art

Nothing’s gonna stop Executor from hunting down his targets, especially not something as lame as armor. With AoE targeting and DEF-penetrating bullets, Executor is a perfect counter for swarms of nasty foes. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that he’s prime husbando material, either. A fallen angel who dual-wields shotguns? Who isn’t into that?

Silence

Silence's E2 art

Silence has been around since the beginning of the game, and she’s just as good now as she was on Day One. Her highly versatile Medical Drone gives her global healing presence, AoE healing powers, and double the single-target healing potential, all in one fell swoop. (Get it? Swoop? Because she’s an owl?)

Vermeil

Vermeil's E2 art

Vermeil’s small stature won’t stop her from putting an arrow through your eye – and if her Skill is active, she’ll get both eyes with the same shot. She looks like a ST Sniper when you drop her on the field, but once she activates her Skill 2, this fiery fox can machine-gun her arrows through twice the amount of enemies.
